I sit up in bed, shaken. I don't know why...but I have this feeling, like when your about to ride a roller coaster, and you're excited but terrified. However, I also feel like it's a nice kinda 'terrified'. As if something crazy is about to happen, something life-changing.
But it's probably nothing.
I reach out for my phone to check the time; 8:30. school would be starting right now. I'm not going to school today though, because the Duffer Brothers are kinda holding auditions today at 12:30...and I kinda have to be there with the rest of the cast. So yeah.
I throw on a pair of jeans, a black T-shirt, my watch, and some white vans.

I lazily walk downstairs to make some pancakes. My mom isn't home so I guess I'm taking the bus to the audition.
As I devour my pancakes, it hits me: They're auditioning Mike's new love interest today. SHIT. Today I'm gonna meet someone who I'll probably have to spend A LOT of time with. What if I don't even like them? (As a friend) What if the person they choose is a Shitty person? Okay, Finn, chill. You have a say in who gets picked.
After I put my plate in the sink, I check my watch; 9:12am.
I still have some time to kill, so I take out my phone and scroll through Instagram.
I start hyperventilating, H O L Y S H I T I might get to meet Finn Wolfhard... and everyone else. Wait, is the cast even gonna be there?
I clear my throat.
"Ehem, Jess?"
"Yea?" She responds, only half paying attention. (Due to DRIVING Duh)
"Erm, Is anyone from the cast gonna be there?"
"You just wanna see Finn, Don't you?" 'Yes.' I think to myself.
"N-NO!" I lie
"You're such a damn horrible liar."
"I know..."
There's a long pause with nothing but the sound of other cars around us until she actually answers my question.
"Yes. The whole cast is gonna be there, since it's such a small cast, they like to let all of them have a say in who gets the part."
"ohhhhhkay."
YES. He's gonna be there! I reach in my backpack of random math papers, and way at the bottom I see my emergency make-up kit. I smear my lips with a deep red-purple colour, and Volumize (Is that a word?) my eyelashes with black mascara.
"Damn, you really want to impress, don't ya?" Jess teases.
"Shut up!" I respond playfully
She just laughs in response.
We pull up to the building. It looks like crap. It's probably to cover up that it's a big show. My heart is pounding 100 beats per second.
"Jesus, calm down. It's not like you're gonna meet your celeb crush or anything!"
Jess states sarcastically.
"again, Shut up... please."
"Fiiiiiiiiiiiine." She says as if she's a five-year-old who got denied an ice cream scoop.
The cold air makes my cheeks slightly rosy, it looks like I have blush on. As I open the door to the building, warm air hits my face, calming me down a bit.
I walk into the waiting room, filled with girls all with my hair colour and skin tone. I guess they're going for a specific look to this character.
I sign in on the sign up sheet. And I wait... and wait... and wait...by now Jess has taken out her phone and started texting her boyfriend, Alejandro Fox.
Finally, Matt Duffer walks out.
"Erm, Y/N?"
"That's me!" I say cheerfully
"C'mon in!" I walk into the room, trying to look as confident as possible. I look toward the table which seats everyone in the cast; Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery (MAMA STEVE!), David Harbour, Dacre Montgomery, Winona Ryder, Sean Astin, Sadie Sink, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Finn Wolfhard.
Finn's wearing a nice outfit, and his hair is... perfect. (A/N DARLING U LOOK PERFECT 2NITE! Ed Sheeran, anyone? no? ok)
I check the time on my phone. Shit. 11:30. I gotta go.
I dig in my bag for spare change for the bus fare, and I have just enough. I put on my jacket, and sprint for the bus stop. I get on the bus right before the doors close. I pull my hood down to avoid getting bombarded with fangirls.
:15 mins later:
I arrive at the corner of the street where the auditions are being held. A sprint up the stairs, two at a time. I'm probably the last one here. As I enter the room, I learn I was right, I am the last one to show up.
"Hey, guys!"
Different responses of "AYEEEE" and "MAH BOIIII" and "WHASSSAAAAAAA" and "FINNNNN" echo through the room.
As soon as Matt called the first girls in, I was immediately bored. I read the lines with them, but they all recited their lines monotone, and boring.I think they just came here to meet us. I doubt they have any acting experience. After 30 minutes of being bored out of my mind, Matt calls the last girl in. She had smooth, shiny hair, and gorgeous eyes.

Human Childs! I lied, I uploaded the chapter today, and not on Friday but whatever. I hope you enjoyed this longer chapter! I decided to incorporate Finn's POV because it would be boring if it was just Y/N the whole time so yeah. I WON'T be uploading a chapter tomorrow cuz I'm sleeping over at my friend's house so ya.
