Katsumi couldn't sleep that night, which puzzled him. He had never had trouble sleeping before, all that he could think if was what Lucinda had said. "Katsumi, if Eliza and Anastasiya find out that your attached to 'im. You're days are numbered." Maybe the reason he couldn't sleep was because he knew she was right. No, he couldn't have been attached to Mako.... could he? If he was, he would know it, right? He could easily kill this human... Couldn't he?
Katsumi abruptly stopped his thought process, and his breath hitched in his throat. Just the thought of Makoto's death by his hand, or wing, in his case, made his stomach churn in an uncomfortable way. No, he couldn't kill Makoto, he knew that much. He turned his head to gaze out the window. "I have grown attached to him." Katsumi whispered, resting his head on the glass. "Dammit.." He lightly dozed, leaning against the window.
ooOOooOooOOoo
Katsumi was awoken by the sound of growling, his eyes widened, and he lifted his head from the window. "WHY IN THE HELL HIS THERE A FUCKING POLAR BEAR?!" Makoto yelled. Katsumi's eyes widened even more. "Eliza.." He whispered. He knew what he had to do, and wasn't too happy about the fact, He stood up from where he was laying. He pulled off his jacket, and unfolded his wings. He slid his hands into his jean pockets and exited his room and entered the living room.
Makoto was on the ground, one of Eliza's paws on his chest. Glass was broken around the two. Katsumi shook his head, then announced his presence. "Can you break any other glass objects, Elizabeth? Because that would be amazing." He said, the feathers on his wings ruffling in annoyance. Eliza lifted her paw of Makoto and sauntered over to where Katsumi was standing. "Was that sarcasm, Angel?" She asked, in the deep, yet feminine voice her polar bear self was given. "Are you trying to insult me?" Katsumi asked. "Yeah, I am." Eliza stated. "That was a poor attempt." Katsumi huffed. "Shut up! I'm only here to kill your human, and if I have to, I'll kill you as well." Eliza snarled. "You need to hope demons really do have 15 deaths before they perish." Katsumi stepped away from Eliza, and over to Makoto, sweeping him into his arms bridal style. "Because you're going to need them all!" Makoto looked up at Katsumi, stunned at the sight of the raven wings folded on his back. Makoto's arms were wrapped around Katsumi's neck, clinging to him. "Katsumi-" He started. "Sh. We'll talk later." Katsumi cut him off.
"Katsumi!" Eliza growled, jumping at him. Katsumi jumped out of the way, landing gracefully on the railing outside his balcony. "Every. Death. You've. Got." He taunted. Eliza shifted into her regular form. "Alright, Kat. You want me to be the bad guy..." She said, a sword forming out of ice like crystals in her hand. "NOW, I'M THE BAD GUY!" She shouted. Katsumi inwardly panicked, but kept a stoic expression. +Dammit, she has a sword..+ He thought, gazing down at Makoto. +I can't draw mine with him in my arms like this.. If I put him down she'll go straight for him. Hm...+ He glanced back at his wings. +I'll have to land or fall frequently to use my wings as weapons..+ His train of thought was cut off by Eliza running at him, he quickly dodged her by jumping off the railing, and landing on the ground bellow. +Looks like I can't risk putting him down. My wings will have to do the trick.+ "Do you trust me, Makoto?" He asked. "Yes.. With my life." Makoto responded. Katsumi couldn't decide whether that was good or not..
