I was on the beach. I could feel the sand seeping between my toes. The sun was warm on my skin, and it tinted my closed eyelids orange. The sound of the ocean was comforting, and I took slow steps.

A pair of strong, tan arms wrapped around my shoulders from behind. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach, and I smiled. I leaned back against his bare chest and opened my eyes.

Gorgeous golden orbs met mine, and Roy placed a kiss on the side of my head. The shade of his hair matched the sand, and I sighed contentedly. He wore nothing but a pair of beachy shorts, and his legs had a light dusting of sand over them. Every inch of him screamed masculinity, and I soaked it up like a flower with the sun. He was amazing.

He placed his lips against my ear, and his hands dropped to my waist. A faint wind blew across the beach, delightfully cool.

"Elizabeth?" He murmured, a smile in his voice. His lips tickled my earlobe, and I laughed lightly.

"Yes?"

"I love you."

Suddenly, the temperature began to drop. The arms disappeared, and the sand turned into hard, dark soil. The ocean was replaced by large, beautiful trees, and when I looked down, my feet, which somehow had shoes on them, were in snow. Dense clouds drifted lazily across a gray sky, sending soft snowflakes down to me. A frozen lake appeared nearby. I was in warm, comfortable clothes. There was a chuckle somewhere beside me.

Sebastian leaned against a tree, arms crossed. A few strands of his jet black hair had fallen onto his face, and his silver eyes shone brightly. He was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and dark jeans, casual clothes that only accentuated his otherworldly beauty. Snowflakes littered his hair, a stark contrast to the darkness of it. My heart clenched, and affection curled in my stomach as I made my way toward him.

He smiled and opened his arms. I stepped into them, and Sebastian wrapped his arms tightly around me. My face was tucked snugly into his chest, protected from the cold wind, and I felt him place his chin on my head. Warmness spread all over my body, and I was sure that I'd be happy there forever.

"Elizabeth?" His chest vibrated a little against my ear as he spoke. I laughed.

"Hmm?"

"Don't marry him."

My eyes snapped open and I sat up, breathing hard. The clock on the wall ticked reassuringly, and light streamed into my room through the window. My heart was beating wildly, and I worked to breathe deeply. After a long, anxious moment, my heart finally began to slow down. It was just a dream.

I got out of bed and hurried to my closet, because my closet had carpet in it and the floor of my bedroom was painfully cold. The seasons were changing quickly, and I didn't like it.

Knowing it'd warm up later in the day, I picked a baby blue dress. It came down to just past my knees, and I found a pair of white sneakers near the back wall. I grabbed a pretty white necklace to match the shoes, and made my way to the bathroom. I wanted to feel pretty, and I knew there were hair styling tools in the bathroom cabinet.

After curling the ends of my hair and deciding that I was relatively not horrible looking, I left to go find Roy. The dream was still vivid in my mind, and I shivered. I was getting to know the intricate halls and corridors of Roy's palace better, and I found his office with little trouble. I knocked on his door.
