This chapter has 1437 words in it. I'm slowly trying to transition myself into making the chapters longer, so please bear with me as I learn :'D Also, with my last semester of high school starting on Monday, updates may be a bit more irregular. The reason there was no update yesterday is because I've been binge-writing chapters in advance so I can have you guys covered in case I can't write. PLEASE excuse any spelling errors, my brain is beyon fried. I will double check it shortly, but until then, I apologize if there is an error that just bugs the mess out of you :)
The picture above (or beside or below) is malachite, and it's the most gorgeous shade of green ever <3
The end of this chapter escalates very quickly; I promise that it is completely necessary. Thank you for reading!

"He's been acting weird all day." I said. Sebastian and I were laying beside each other on the hard floor, not touching, but close enough that I could feel the faint coolness of his skin radiating through his clothes. We both stared up at the stone ceiling.
Sebastian was a completely different person when we were alone. It was like nothing had changed since we were together in his palace, and I was ill at ease when I was alone with him. Despite the fact I'd only talked to him alone one time before, I trusted him.
"Derrick is very unhappy right now. Understandably. Roy may be mediating some of the stress by meeting with him." He said. His voice was smooth and deep.
"I don't know. It's weird. First of all, he usually is there to wake me up. He was in his office this morning instead." I left out the dream I'd had the night prior. "Then, when I came into his office, he hid the paper he was working on and played it off like nothing happened. And he left without telling me where he was going."
"I heard him talking my interrogator recently about the drug Derrick used to imprison me. He may be researching it. Something that is illegal in his kingdom, might I add."
"It's illegal to research things about drugs?" I asked, baffled. Sebastian gave a hard, cold laugh.
"Yes. It's illegal to partake in anything drug-related, unless for medicinal purposes."
"You think that's why he was trying to hide it?"
"Not necessarily. You're still relatively new here; how would you know his laws?"
"Do you think it's something bad?" I asked. "Something wrong?"
Sebastian was quiet for a moment, and I turned my head to look at him. His black hair covered his ears, and his shimmery eyes glanced my way. Suddenly, he sat up.
"I mentioned a game last night," He said, changing the subject. I stayed where I was, sprawled out on the floor.
"Oh, yeah. What game?"
"A questions game."
He brushed a few strands of hair away from his face.
"A questions game?" I asked. He moved his legs to sit criss-cross.
"A questions game." He confirmed. "Skipping the question is allowed, but in order to do so, you have to follow an order from the asker."
"So truth or dare," I said. His eyebrows furrowed for a second before his face slipped back into its usual indifference.
