SHELTER (YoonSeok)

Hoseok was tired, dehydrated, and in the midst of his heat during the worst time to be alone; the middle of the night.

He had been walking through the woods for what seemed like hours on end and he was pretty sure that he was far enough away from his former pack. Which was good news, it means that his scent couldn't be detected by them. He just hoped no other dangerous wolves were out at the moment.

He walked until his legs gave out. He collapsed underneath a huge tree. He didn't know where he was. He could tell his heat was about to come back full swing in a moment. He wouldn't have any relief but the thought of getting violated again by that terrible Alpha, Zitao, made him grateful he was alone. He shifted into his human form since it was easier to deal with his heat that way.

"We haven't even caught anything yet. We can't turn back now.", Namjoon insisted.

The older Alpha huffed. "There's nothing out here. Our territory is the worst for hunting."

"We still have to try. I don't want Jin and the pups to go hungry.", Namjoon said. Even though he was the Pack Alpha, he was usually challenged by the oldest Alpha, Yoongi.

"Fine. We'll find something for them and then we have to go back. It's too late for this.", Yoongi reasoned.

Jin was Namjoon's mate. The Pack Omega. Not to mention, he was currently nursing two pups they had found in the woods.

All the sudden, the Pack Alpha lifted his nose to the air. "Yoongi, do you smell that?"

The said wolf mimicked Namjoon's action. The smell caught him off guard. "Is that an Omega in heat? In our territory?"

"We're too far away from the camp for it to be any of our Omegas.", Namjoon said.

"You're right.", Yoongi said.

"Well, let's go check it out. If there's an Omega in heat in our territory, it's obviously not planning to invade us or something. Come on."

With that, Namjoon bounded off deeper into the woods. Yoongi sighed then followed after his leader.
Namjoon was always more curious than anything. That's how they found the pups Sehun and Baekhyun after all.

Sure enough, the Alphas came across an Omega in heat. One that they did not recognize either. Namjoon and Yoongi shifted into their human forms. Namjoon covered his nose as to not be unfaithful to Jin but Yoongi let himself be overcome by the Omega's beautiful features and intoxicating scent.

The Omega obviously was too into his heat to really process what was going on, but it was obvious he knew they were there.

Yoongi stood there and gazed at how beautiful the Omega was laying there writhing amongst the dead leaves and sticks.

Namjoon kneeled down in front of him. Yoongi felt a strange urge to protect the Omega and push Namjoon away from him, but his feet stayed rooted to the spot.

Namjoon used his calming Alpha voice to soothe him. "Hey. Don't worry, Omega. We'll get you back to our camp so you'll be safe. We won't hurt you. We want to help."

The Omega stopped moving and looked up at Namjoon. His eyes started to close. He managed to mouth out a small "thank you" before falling asleep.

Namjoon looked up at Yoongi. "Are you okay?"

All Yoongi knew was that he wanted to make that Omega his and he definitely would. Yoongi nodded.

"Okay, well can you carry him? I don't know what Jin will think if he saw me carry an Omega in heat into our camp. He's hormonal enough as it is. I don't want him to get the wrong idea."

Yoongi just nodded again and went over to pick up the Omega. He was small and looked really cute in his arms. Yoongi couldn't help but stare. Namjoon rolled his eyes at his friend and shook his head.

They began the trek back to the camp, forgetting about finding something to eat.

As they walked, Yoongi couldn't help but wonder; Who was the Omega? Where did he come from? How was he so attractive?
