Ch.4: Jongwoon

Veera POV

“Hey! What do you have next?” Boa asked me.

“Chemistry, you?”

“Aww I have math.”

“So where is the chemistry classrooms?”

“Oh! You can follow Eunhyuk and Kai! They have Chemistry now too I think. Bye!” She then walked down the left hall to where I assume the Math classrooms are located.

Seeing Eunhyuk leaving towards the right hall I ran to catch up with him.

“Hey Veera. Do you have Chemistry too?” He asked kindly, slowing down so I could catch up. I nodded my head and he smiled as we continued to walk on in silence. I went up to the teachers desk as we reached the class while Eunhyuk went towards the back of the class.

“Hello! I am the new transfer student, Veera” I said to her. She was a slightly short lady with light brown hair.

“Yes, hello! I am Ms. Sunny and you can take a seat next to… Jongwoon!” She said with a smile.

I bowed to her and headed towards a boy who I assumed was Jongwoon since he was waving me over. The class was relatively small with only 8 students, including me, and we were seated in pairs.

“Hello! I am Jongwoon but you can call me Yesung!” The boy I did not recognize said happily.

“Hi! I am Veera, nice to meet you.”

“You don’t look Korean, how is your korean so fluent?”

“I studied Korean in America after I was accepted and I learn languages quickly I guess.”

“Class! Let us begin!” Ms. Sunny began.

“Let’s continue talking at lunch. Why don’t you join me and my friends for soccer? We have an odd number and it doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to play.” He asked quietly. I nodded my head and we returned our attention to the board.

However, I felt like someone was staring at me only to see Kai behind looking at me with a strange but cold look.

I wonder what that’s about and where have I seen him before?! I thought frustrated before ignoring it and focusing on Ms. Sunny again.
