Ch.14: Starting Over

Kai POV

 

“RING!!” I rushed out of class with D.O. running to catch up with me. At least Sehun is not in this class.

“Hey! Kai! Wait up! KIM JONGIN!”

“What?!” I practically growled at D.O. who was panting to catch up with me.

“Yah! What is the rush? Not like we are late for geography, not that you cared.”

“Nothing.” I said and continued speed walking but slow enough for D.O. to keep up.

“Kai!” I heard Veera and started speeding up. I looked behind to see Veera and a confused looking Kyuhyun following behind her.

“Why are you calling him?” I heard Kyuhyun ask but his question was ignored as I entered the classroom with a pissed off looking Veera following me.

“Kai! What is yo-”

“Good morning class!” Mrs. Kim shouted as she walked in.

Never thought i would be grateful to her before. I saw Veera scrowl and sulk back to her seat.

The rest of the lesson went past in a bkur as I drifted off to sleep.

 

Veera POV

 

"Thanks! You guys are the best!" I whispered to Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Siwon and Eunhyuk, who were sitting next to me. I smirked at the sleeping boy as the plan formed in my head.

 

Kai POV

 

"BANG!!" I woke up with a jolt at the loud banging on my table. I saw four of super junior's members surrounding my table and noticed everyone had left. I got up and tried to walk around them to leave only to be stopped by Siwon.

"Where do you think you're going?" Siwon asked.

"Home." I answered curtly and tried to push past him. They let me out of the table and I walked towards the door when suddenly I was lifted off the ground and the four of them carried my struggling form to the rooftop.

They put me down and I was shocked to see Veera standing there with her back to me.

"Done Veera! See ya tomorrow!" Kyuhyun said excitedly and dragged his hyungs away.

"We need to talk." She said seriously with her back still faced away from me.

“We have nothing to talk about.” I said and turned to walk out the door when Tao jumped off the top of the door with his wushu stick in hand.

“You’re not going anywhere.” He said and nodded at Veera who had finally turned around.

“Fine. What do you want?” I gave up and asked.

 

Veera POV

 

You gotta love the boys for helping, but I didn’t think this out far enough…

“Umm… Let’s start with why you have been ignoring me?”

“Uh… For certain reasons?” But it came out more as a question than an answer.

“Wait. So you have been ignoring me for no god damn reason.” I said, lowering my voice. He gulped and slowly nodded his head.

“Nevermind. How about we start over? I’m Veera, nice to meet you.” I said.

“Okay… I’m Kai.”

“Let’s be friends.” He nodded his head confused at my sudden change of attitude.

“Okay bye! Come on Tao! Yixing said they would wait for us at the carpark. Let’s go!” I yelled walking through the door.
