Ch.9: Meeting EXOM

Kris POV

“Why are we here again?” Chen asked. Again.

“I told you a million times already! I am waiting for Veera!” I said frustrated.

“Oh yeah… Hehe.” He said before running off to play with Xiumin, who was sitting on the floor against the opposite wall, playing with his phone.

“Xiumin! Xiumin! Xiumin! Minseok! Minseok! Minseok! Yah! Answer me! Xiumin! Xiu” He started chanting at Xiumin who was ignoring him.

“Yah! Kim Jongdae! Shut Up! You’re giving me a headache!” I yelled in anger.

“Duizhang! Calm down!” Tao came up to me with is wushu stick in hand.

“Why are you carrying that? And where were you Zitao?”

“I was practicing then I met with Lay at the music room.”

“Hey!” Lay popped out from behind Tao smiling and clutching his guitar in his left hand.

“Hey Lay. Why didn’t you go for dance team practice today?” Lay was my best friend since like kindergarten. He used to be my neighbour before we both moved here.

“I forgot…” He said rubbing his neck sheepishly as he stared at the floor. Forever so forgetful. It’s a miracle he doesn’t forget his dance routines.

People started filing out of the dance studio and soon I saw Veera.

“Hey Veera!” I said catching her attention.

“Hey Yifan! Yixing!” She hugged me before jumping to hug him. He stumbled slightly while Luhan quickly grabbed his guitar before he dropped it or something. Lay shot Luhan a grateful look before returning the hug.

“Hey Veera! It is good to see you again.” He said as they let go of each other.

“You too! But who’s everyone else? Ooh are you guys Yifan’s gang?” I heard her ask before tuning out their introductions as I saw Kai and Sehun walk out the door. We nodded as greetings before they walked the other way. I turned back to the gang sighing.

Why did everything have to change…

Veera POV

It’s great to see Yixing again. I still can’t believe he lives with us now! The advantages to us moving here later than them, they rented the house together and we simply moved in. We became friends since him and Yifan were best friends so he used to come around our house a lot before the two of them moved out.

“Have you seen Mum yet?” I asked him after they introduced themselves. He shook his head since he was staying at a friend’s house last night when we moved in.

“Hey, want to go now? I want dinner now!” I practically shouted.

“Hey what about us?” Luhan asked pouting.

“So cute! Let me ask if you guys can come over” I called her and thanked her as she said I could bring them all home.

“Yay! Food!” Chen and Xiumin yelled still sitting on the floor with their eyes glued to Xiumin’s phone.

Kris chuckled as we all started heading towards my house.
