Arden lay in what was now Xena's old room. She couldn't believe Xena had just left. Why was Xena so angry at her? Could Arden possibly lose that much control over her emotions?

The door opened and in came the machines she had built from the previous six months.

The first was Tetsu, who had finished buying the groceries for her.

Accompanied by Kara, the bot she had fixed almost a year ago and Saka, there to keep her safe with its boundaries.

Followed by Seri, the apartment's security system embodied in a large-sized bot.

These were all her friends. They were there for her, just like friends did to each other.

But Arden felt something different.

Tetsu left the groceries in the living room - keeping the food far out of sight.

Kara had been following Arden so much, she was concerned that Kara was actually stalking her.

Saka was always locking doors and setting boundaries behind Arden's back, perhaps, trying to lock her in.

Seri activated its security mode - where lasers and security cameras would turn on for security purposes - way too often, making Arden question why these bots were acting differently.

"Tetsu, can you get the food?" Arden commanded.

"No, Arden, you need to walk. You've been here for two days straight." Kara shot back.

"Kara's right, you should walk more. Also, do you mind if I didn't lock the doors of every room you enter? It's like you think people are going to come in;" Saka stated with concern.

"Yes, and is it possible for you to turn off the security system for a while? It's wasting all of my energy." Seri requested.

" And I can't do everything for you! You're 24!" Tetsu exclaimed.

"All of you, stop. Listen to me or I'll break you." Arden threatened, "so go away."
