bringing back some memories i wont and never want to forget,

it was cloudy, and you said that soon it will rain, and you were so sure. your eyes were determined, lit by fire, with diamonds gleaming back and forth.

we were in your rover, groceries at the trunk, blasted with some indie songs. your hands tapped on the steering wheel, following the beat.

i chuckled, you were so happy, it was the first time i saw you all smiley,

or maybe you liked grocery shopping so much (?)

but your beautiful locks followed the rhythm as you bobbed your head up and down.

i sweared to god, i will kiss you when it rains, i will kiss you delicately, shifting from your cheeks to your eyes because i love you so much.

once it rains, i will tell you how much i loved you, how much staying friends will kill us both. i will tell you how much i wanted you, not in my arms but in my bed, snuggling with you, because my bed is cold without you.

i will whisper stupid rambles and blow your ears because it tickle you so bad that sometimes you'd cover your ears with the pillow.

when it rains, i will promise you i will stay during your nightmares and your tantrums and i will tell you how much i love you with all my heart.

but,

it never rains.
