CHAPTER 8
PIV’s POV:
Im sipping a cup of warm water while battering the egg. Well, as of now, nagluluto ako.
Yung A Hopeless Romantic by Harriet Evans. I find it great kaya naman di ko mapigilan sarili kong magbasa ng magbasa. It’s kinda heartbreaking in the first part.
I replied sarcastically.
“Right.
“I’ll get it.” Said Gab.
“You have a visitor.”
“Goodmorning Piv!” Harhar said, bashfully entering the kitchen
“Bwisit-or rather, dear cousin.” I said as I rolled my eyes, even so, Ive made Harhar a milk too.
“I love you Pivy! Nakita mo nab a yung motor ni Gab?!” Harhar said eerie.
“Tone down your voice.” Gab said. Naiisip nya ba ang naiisip ko?
“Sorry.” Then she pouted. Poor kiddo. I handed her the milk and she sipped a little. “Ang tabang ‘te.” Kinuha nya yung sugar container namen tas dinagdagan yung kanya.
“Why don’t you just drink a hot sweet sweet syrup?” I said looking blankly at Harhar while getting some plates.
“Whatever!”
Then I remembered something.
“Wow. Ikaw nagluto Piv?” then she looked at Gab and Gab gestured “we’re dead”.
Back to my question lady?”
“Ah. Sorry. Dyan lang ako nagdodorm, makalampas ng playground.”
“Whaaaat?!” I exclaimed. Actually, Im surprised.
“Bat di nalang dito?” Gab suddenly asked, drawing my attention to Harhar, only to see her face turning bright red. Tssss. You’re too obvious girl.
Harhar said, and started to eat. I sat beside her and starts to eat too.
“So. Di na kayo magko-commute papuntang school?” Harhar said, breaking the silence.
“Yep.” Said Gab, getting another cup of mixed rice.
“Im envous.” Said Harhar, smiling fakely.
“You can ride with us. Kasya naman dalawang angkas d-----“
“Nope. That’s accident-prone. I said, cutting Gab.
“And what time do you think you’ll reach the school?” Gab asked, looking blankly at me.
“If I leave the dorm 15minutes earlier, then I can manage to reach school in time.” I said finishing my food. “Si Harleigh nalang i-angkas mo sa motor, I don’t like riding a motorcycle anyway.”
