A Lost Fox

School Brings Friends

Naruto's P.O.V
The past few weeks I've been attending the academy and still gets beating by the villagers but less then the first time because of Tsunade's help. On the third day I became friends with a dog lover named Kiba. He always carries around a small white dog named Akamaru. Akamaru smells me everyday and it's getting weird. I don't know if he can find out I'm a fox but let's hope he can't.
Today in class Kiba and I decides to sleep through the lesson until lunch. Iruka sensei seemed pissed at that.
At lunch Kiba and I sat with Shikamaru and Coji.
"Hey Naruto What clan are you from" ask Shikamaru
I had no clue on what to say because I am from the kitsune clan.....well at least that's what mom told me. Mom told me that this clan has the powers of a fox can can turn into one like we could. All I knew is I shouldn't say it or they would know who I really am or they would look into it.....sooooo basically I'm fucked. (Yeah Naruto isn't a Uzumaki....If you haven't notice yet)
"I'm not from a clan" I said hoping that they bought the lie
"Isn't your last name Kitsune" ask Kiba
Damn it just because I'm a Kitsune doesn't mean you need to know everything.
"Yeah what about it"
I see the other three look at each other looking like they are having a conversation.
"Never mind then" said Choji
After the conversation we had to get back to class. It's was always boring as usual so again.......I went to sleep.
After school I was walking home when Kiba ran up to me with Akamaru.
"HEY NARUTO"
"Yeah Kiba"
"Wanna head to your place but if not we can head to mine"
AAAHHH is this what all humans do I wanna go home and let my tails and ears out or go to the woods and run around as my fox form.
"Can we hang out tomorrow Kiba"
"Yeah sure cya later Naruto"
After we split up I ran to the woods. All the villagers glared at me but they didn't beat me thank god.
When I arrived at the woods I turned into my fox form and ran to my old house. Some of it still remains there but burnt. I walk up to my moms grave and sit down.

Kiba's P.O.V
I wonder why Naruto didn't want to hang out today. Oh well I guess I can ask him tomorrow I'll just go train Akamaru.
I walk to the woods and Akamaru started to run away. I had no clue of where he was going but I followed him anyway. Soon I smelt Naruto.
We arrive to a place that was near water and had a burnt house....well not a full house. I look over and I see a golden fox with NINE TAILS. All nine tails had white on the end. Stupid me though decides to walk up to the fox. The fox smells just like Naruto though

Naruto's P.O.V
I hear foot steps behind me so I think Tsunade found me but it didn't smell like her no it smells like Kiba and Akamaru. Shit they can remember the sent of people. I got up from Mom's grave and started to shake. I had no idea of what to do either run or tell Kiba the truth. I did what I did on the one night I regret.......I ran away. I look behind me and I see Kiba and Akamaru running after me. I hear Kiba shouting at me to wait and Akamaru is barking. I ran faster and loosing them. When I got out of the woods I turned back into human form with no ears or tails and ran home.

The next day I arrives at school early. Kiba then arrives a few minutes after me.
"Hey Naruto"
"Hey Kiba"
"Listen Naruto I want you to answer this and don't lie"
Shit I don't want to loose a friend but if he ask the question I'm done for
"Were you the fox in the woods"
"If I tell you will you tell anyone"
"No I'm your friend you can trust me"
Trust is a word humans use without hesitation I guess.
"Y-Y-Yes I was the fox in the woods"
"Your a fox"
"Yeah my mom is from the Kitsune clan her name is Kushina and my father is Minato he was a shinobi here"
"What happen to them"
"My father died from protecting my mom when she was pregnant"
"Wait why did they want to kill her"
"The Kitsune clan can turn into their fox forms and has the abilities of a fox. We can also have our ears and tail or tails our whole we are in our human form so they thought she was a demon"
"Oh"
"So my whole life till I was five I lived in the woods with my mom but.......she died"
I look at Kiba and I see shock and sadness written on his face
"When I was five humans were after to kill us and mom told me to run and she died while I escaped"
"Wait so why are you now living in this village when all this happened"
"The reason is the only ones I know that are alive are Tsunade and Shizune so I looked for them and ask for help and they would help if I live here so here I am"
"What did you mean about the ears and tails"
"Come to my house after school I'll show you and please don't tell no one"
"Ok and I won't"
After that people started to arrive. Soon after school started.
During the school day I realized that having someone my age know who I really am isn't that bad. I just can have everyone finding out.
After school Kiba came to my house and I showed him my ears and tails but still in human form. He didn't seem scared.

Later we decided to go to the woods so I am able to be a fox and we would be able to play.
We played and a smile soon appeared on my face. I guess my smile didn't go away with mom.

When Kiba has to go home I went to visit mom and talk to her.
"Hey mom I'm back again and I still miss you but things are starting to look up in Konoha for me. One of my friends named Kiba knows about my fox form and abilities and he didn't once call me a demon or get scared. I guess you were right mom friends are better than being alone. I have to go mom again bye mom."

A tear fell down my face as I stood up and went home to go to bed.
