After she had calmed down a little, well enough to be able to address the situation without totally freaking out. She turned back to the wolf and carefully observed the wound that had clearly gotten infected. She grabbed some herbs that would keep the swelling down and some other herbs that were going to help get rid of the infection.
She sighed, she was finished and felt quite relieved that nothing else seemed to be harming the poor wolf. The wolf also seemed to be in less pain and looked at the young girl with gratitude clear in his eyes.
"Well it looks like your wound has gotten infected but as long as we continue applying herbs and replacing the bandages you should be fine." The girl said in a saddened tone, for she never liked to see anything in pain whether they be bad or good.
She couldn't stop imagining what would have happened if she hadn't gotten there when she did, and what if that had happened to her! She couldn't stop the images from popping into her head and she burst out crying.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" she kept repeating as she pulled the wolf into her arms and dug her tear soaked face into his fur careful to miss the bandages.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" was all she said as more and more tears soaked the wolves fur.
Suddenly there was a bright light and the young girl screamed out in immense pain. When the light had slowly started to die out, she stopped screaming. The room went dark as if someone had turned off the sun. She slowly set the wolf down and struggled to stand up. She had no control over her body, and once she stood she started to chant something in a strange language as she raised her hands and her eyes glowed a blinding white and the wolf let out a small whimper.

With that she fainted.
