CHAPTER 9

Zyana POV

We are currently eating dinner with the Parker's, business partner ni Dad with their son Sky Aurthur Parker my fiancee. Yes my fiancee my Dad confirm it a while ago, and I did not had a chance to say no.

"starting on monday Aurthur will be with you at school." Dad declare as he sip on his red wine.

All I respond was nod.  I can't let out, I'm afraid. Yeah maybe I'm afraid, Afraid to disappoint them and myself.

"Aurthur why won't you invite Zyna at the garden, you know, get to know each other." Tita Jacky

"Go on son, be gentleman and guide this precious lady." Tito Viceral.

As I  stand from my chair and start diverting my gaze to the man who is currently guiding me, to familiar pair of eyes was mix with anger? I dont know, but it somehow relief my nervous thinking he is here, but the comfort did not last when I saw a girl after her.

"Manda lets go?" thats when I break the string our eyes initiate.

I nod again and follow him.

Bumungad sa akin ang luntiang mga dahon, at ibat ibang kulay nang napakagandang mga bulaklak. Not minding Aurthur's presence I run unto a carnation and capture it with my phone.

"So mahilig ka sa mga bulaklak?" diko alam kung bakit ako na gulat, all I thought kasi hindi siya marunong mag tagalog.

"Marunong ka mag tagalog?" gulat na tanong ko.

"Ano sa tingin mo?" then he laugh. "Mahilig ka sa bulaklak." ulit niya at tumabi sa akin sa bermuda grass.

"Hindi naman, its just that I do paint, and my favorite subjects are flowers."

"You do paint?" he ask in disbelieve. "Your on top of your class, you have a boutique, you accept modeling, with all that you still have time to paint?"

"Oo naman, stress reliever ko yun. Every time I took a exam thats my technique to memorise my lessons, every strokes has a meaning. Siya nga pala paano mo nalaman ang mga bagay na yan?"

"Ofcourse before I would agree on this kind of situation, I would need to search for your background as well as you family."

"Ah buti ka pa na inform ako kasi kahapon ko lang ata na laman about this arrange marriage, then kanina lang kita nakilala I dont even know anything about you except for your name."

" You want to know anything? Just ask?"

"Ahmm, why did you agree? I mean bakit ka pumayag kahit na hindi mo naman talaga ako kilala."

"I did not agree, but I just want to give it a try, at pagbigyan yung mga magulang ko, eh ikaw?"

"I do not have a choice, but to please my dad."

"Ang drama natin ahh, pero why dont we give it a try, wala namang mawawala diba? Yun lang kung may boyfriend ka na?"

"No I dont have one"

"Your kidding me" then he laugh.

"No I promise." I even raise my right hand.

"Sabagay your a busy person, and it seems like your a serious type of person."

"And I dont have the time to enter one, tsaka wala na mang na ngahas na manligaw." then we both laugh.

I dont know but it feels like Im with someone I know I can trust. It took us some time in there taking pictures of each other, talking about each other, and laughing things we shared in common.

I was laughing on his joke with eyes closed, when I saw a flash, and when I open my eyes I saw him laughing, habang nakatingin sa cellphone niya.

"Uy burahin mo yan." pero shacks ang kulit niya, tinakbo niya yungbphone niya kaya yun ending naghabulan kami. Nang makorner ko siya sa glass wall malapit sa pintuan pilit kong inabot yung phone niya. "Delete mo na kasi." at dahil matangkad nga siya tumalon na akot lahat lahat wala padin. "Sky, please, I beg you, delete that photo."

"If you can" at mas tinaas niya pa, habang tumatawa

"Delete it already Bro."

"And how are you?" he said as he grab my waist and pull me close.

"Halika na." Sabi ko kay Sky, paalis na sana kami nang hilain ni Zack.

"Are you okay?" he hesitately ask. I just nod as an answer. "Can we talk?"

"Sorry pare seloso kasi akong fiancee so sorry but its a no" Sky said before I could answer.

"Not know Zack, we need to go." I said as I pulled my arms out on him, at nagpatianod sa paghila ni Sky.

Ng makarating kami sa table namin nakita ko dun si Tine ka usap sina Mommy at Daddy together with the parents of Sky.

"Yes Tita." she said as I saw them all laughing. I never experience making my dad laugh, he is always close for my explanations and he can not even ask me if I am okay.

"Excuse as, elders but can I interrupt?" Sky ask.

"What is it Iho?" mom attended.

"Can I ask Manda out? I will bring here home before 10 pm." mom just look to dad, and dad just nod. "Go ahead iho, bye the way this is Kristine my brothers child."

"Nice to meet you." Tine said with landi factor, di ko alam kung ako lang perl feellling ko nilalandi niya so Sky kanina pa na katingin ehh, paanon naman daw si Zack. Yan si Zack na naman.

"Nice meetting you too." he said not even laying a stare on her. "We will go ahead then, tito, tita, mom, dad"

"okay be careful, alright?" Tita Jacky reminded.

We just both smiled and bid our final goodbye with them. As he is currently driving he ask me. "Hindi ka pa naka move on noh?" kung nagtataka kayo kung bakit niya alam, simple lang sinabi ko.

"Ang move on para sa naging magkarelasyon lang." sagot ko naman.

"Bakit yung friendship relasyon namna yun ahh, dika pa nakamove on sa pagkaka-ibigan niyo." then he luagh again.

"Mapunit sana bibig mo."

"Ah asar siya. But anyway Manda, seryoso ako dun sa seloso ako, ang akin ay akin lang, so better not try to fling or even talk with other man." I just raise my brows and divert my gaze on the street.
