⚫Chapter 10⚫

"I used to believe in forever, but forevers too good to be true"

I saw you were perfect and so I loved you, then I saw you were not perfect and now I love you even more, look into my eyes and you'll find me, but look into my heart and you'll find you, all the love I have for you, I just want you to know.

Turning over, my hand touching the other side of bed, moving my hand up and down, I was trying to locate the familiar warmth I usually felt, but the other side of the bed, this time was cold, my eyes blinking open quickly, I sat up straight, running one hand through my hair, looking around the room, I saw no one, I couldn't here the usual sound coming from the shower, so I knew she wasn't there.

Getting up, heading down the stairs, yawning in the process, checking the kitchen i saw she wasn't there, so I headed towards the living room, to find her curled up on the couch, a cup off of coffee in her hands, as she stared into space.

"What's wrong?"

I asked sitting down, next to her, she didn't look at me her gaze was still stuck on the fireplace ahead, she started tapping her finger on cup lightly, letting out a sigh, she turned to look at me, biting her lip as if in contemplation of something.

"Don't you ever get tired?"

She asked, tilting my head slightly, I looked at her kind of confused, not really getting what she meant, yawning once more, I took the cup of coffee out of her hand,  drinking some, letting it's bitter taste sink in.

"Of what?"

I asked, she looked at me for a few seconds, not really giving me an answer, was I supposed to know what she meant, I wondered to myself.

"Of me"

She said, I looked at her dumb founded at what she had said, normally I'd answer on point but from the way I am, I felt like teasing her.

What I should have said....

Hell no, how could I ever get tired of someone as spontaneous as my angel  (cringe but it would have made her laugh)

What I did say....

"Of course I am, you're so bratty all the time, who wouldn't?" (Big mistake)

Before I knew what had happened she had punched me hard in the stomach, god knows I was laughing through the pain, standing up in a fast pace, she started leaving the living room, getting up still laughing, I grabbed her by the arm.

"Come on, you know I was just kidding?"

I said still laughing, she had stopped in her tracks, turning around she glared at me, this time she had tears in her eyes, seeing that made me stop my laughing. Sighing I pulled her closer to me into a tight hug, her sniffles could still be heard.

"I was just teasing, now why do you think I'd get tired of you, I've known you for all these years and we've been through hell and back and you think I'd get tired of you now?

I said resting my chin on top of her head, I could feel her nodding her head, her tears soaking into my shirt, my arms held her more tightly.

"Don't you want to get married, I mean don't you have someone that you'd want to build a family with, isn't it kinda of frustrating being stuck by my side all the time?"

Hearing what she said I sighed heavily, raising up her head she looked at me confused, she's over thinking again, her eyes looked at me expectantly waiting for an answer.

"Yes,yes and no"

I said quickly, she looked up at me pouting, I guess I need to explain more.

"Yes I want to get married, yes there's someone I want to be with and no I'm not tired of being stuck by your side all the time"

I said, she looked at me slightly shocked, I know exactly what's about to happen, she's about to ask about that person but I wonder if she knows that person is her.

"Who is it?"
