14. The truth

Jimin went home to his apartment first, he took some shower and changes his cloth. He didn't bump into any of the boys, he figure they probably have class or asleep in their room. He left the apartment and went off to his destination place. His mind are restless. He kept on thinking what he should do, what he shouldn't do, what he should say. He sighed heavily.

Once he arrive at the hospital, he parked his car and went straight to the receptionist. The front desk greet him friendly and asked for his name. They let him enter as he was on the list. The hospital is really secure, every guests has to make an appointment and the guardian himself has to inform the hospital. That way they would avoid any unnecessary accident to happen.

"Jimin-shi?" Jimin look to the person and bow as he saw the doctor. They exchange hand shake with one another.

"Where is he?" Jimin asked. The doctor lead the way to the garden where the patients love to sit and get some fresh air. He pointed to the person Jimin wanted to see.

"Call me if anything happen." The doctor warned Jimin. Jimin bow as the doctor walk away. He walks to the person nervously and sit next to him on the bench quietly without saying a word.

"What are you doing here Jimin?" Jay said once he saw the person who sit beside him.

"Just wanted to know how are you doing?" Jimin asked as he rub his sweaty hands on his jeans. Jay let out a chuckles and smirk.

"Since when do you care?" He sarcastically said.

"All my life, but you're too caught up with your little life, that you didn't even notice." Jimin fold his arm to his chest and watch other patients whose currently at the garden too, either sitting, walking or talking to their visitor.

"I know I messed up." Jimin look at his brother as he confessed for the first time. Jay's eyes start to water and he looks down at the ground. "It's hard to change, you know."

For a second, Jimin felt bad. He hesitate to put his hand on Jay's shoulder. He took courage and rub it smoothly. "You did your best, just don't go back to your old self."

Jay sighed heavily and try to prevent the tears to fall down. His been a drug addict since he enter college, all of his friend who stood with him is because of his money, he don't mind, as he felt powerless when there's people surrounding him, that he didn't even realize what he has done to his life and to his family. After the courts order and explained how Jay are critical on drug addicts, his parents send him to this hospital and hopefully one day that he would fully cure.

"I have something to tell you." Jimin said carefully once Jay has calm himself down. He stay quiet and let Jimin continue. "I'm dating Minji."

Jay smirk and remember his ex-girlfriend who he hurt before. He felt bad to all the people he has hurt and killed. If he could turn back time he would but that's only can be said by word, not action.

"I........ I'm...... " Jimin stutter his word.

"If you felt sorry, you don't have to. If I were you, I would marry her by now." Jay said. Jimin was suprised by Jay confession. "She's an amazing girl, I'm just too messed up to realize it."

Jimin couldn't agree more, Minji has been apart of his life for only half a month, but she means a lot to him. "I love her, I know it might be weird after this, but I just wanted to let you know."

"Thank you for letting me know." Jay smile and look at Jimin, for the first time they make eye contact after a year of conflict. "Take care of her for me."

"I will even if you didn't tell me." Jimin laugh.

"Yeah, whatever." Jay smile widely at his brother comment.
