16. It's a mistake

Weeks passed and Jimin haven't talk to Minji ever since. He tried to call her but she didn't answer, let alone text. According to Jin and the rest of the members. Jiyoung was sentense to jail for 5 years in attempt of kidnapping and rape while Jennie and Subin will be under probation since there isn't enough witnesses.

Jimin haven't seen Minji at school either, which make him more unsettled. He missed her, he missed her smile, her touch, her kiss. He missed everything about her. He didn't saw Jennie and Subin at school either, they probably moved or got kicked out of the school which is a good news for them.

Jimin was entering the business department building when he saw Minji at her locker. He was about to walk to her until Hoseok block his way. "Are you sure?"

"What? You want me to avoid her? I don't think I can. At least I need to explain everything, she needs to know my side of the story too." Jimin explained. He can't hold back anymore, he need to see her. Hoseok let him pass and Jimin walk closer to Minji.

"Hey." Jimin carefully said. Minji look at him but she didn't respond anything back and continue to organize her locker. "I miss you."

"Can you please talk to me?" Jimin said when Minji haven't reply to any word he said.

"What do you want me to say? That you're Jay's brother? My ex-boyfriend's brother?" Jimin look down at the ground, guilty is what he felt now. "I don't think we can work this relationship."

Minji finally decided to end it. She close her locker and was about to leave until Jimin open his mouth.

"Why not?" Minji stop her track and look at Jimin. "I mean, so what his my brother? It doesn't mean anything. You're dating me, not him. I've been nice to you, I understand what you going through. What more do you want?"

"The fact that you can told me the truth since the very beginning makes my trust for you is gone." Minji hold the tears that was about to fall. "It's a lied If I don't miss you, I love you."

"Then-" Jimin extend his hand to touch Minji shoulder.

"But when I remember that you related to Jay makes me scared." His hand weakly fall to his side. "Just like how I told Jiyoung, I swear on my life that I'm not gonna have any relationship after Jay."

Jimin look at Minji with a sad face. He don't know what to say anymore, this is just not the right place to discuss any of this. "It was a mistake in the first place, I think we should end this."

Minji don't want to say it too, but she doesn't have a choice either. It makes her uncomfortable knowing the truth all by herself and not from Jimin, it doesn't matter anymore how much she loved him, the past would never faded. Minji walked away after she have the strength to, leaving Jimin standing there alone. Hoseok and Jungkook came to his side, but he walk away to a different direction that Minji is going.

Minji was sitting infront of the class as usual. She felt relief that no one knows about the incident. The door open reveal Hoseok and Jungkook, but Jimin isn't in sight. Jungkook and Hoseok gave Minji a smile and she return it. The professor enter but Jimin didn't until the end of the class.

Minji came home after the class, her body weakly lean on the door. She felt like crying, she felt bad. She missed Jimin, the way she felt for Jimin is different than what she felt for Jay. Her mind is going insane. She slides her body to the ground and rest her head on her knee.

"Minji?" Boyoung suddenly came in view. She went near hear and squat infront of her. She caress Minji hair, she knows what her cousin has been through, knowing that the boy she love is actually related to her old past is a nightmare. Minji lift her head and look at her cousin.
