23. What now?

"Am I that easy to you? What? Just because I'm your daughter you can do whatever the hell you want? Have you even ever think about my feeling?" She can't take it anymore, she don't want to be the nice girl anymore. "Do you even know what happen to me for the past 15 years of my life? How's my school? You're not even here when I graduated. Not even a phone call, text, letter from you guys, and you just barge in here and act as if  you're haven't done anything wrong."

Tears fell from her eyes that she's been holding it in, she don't want to waste any tear for her parents, but she can't anymore. This shows how much she's been through all of her life. 

"You don't know anything about me." Minji start to trembling. "And I'm gonna do the same to you."

Minji walk out from the house, ignoring her name called by her parents. They're not her parents, they're stranger to her now. She ran out from the house with tears flowing down on her face like waterfall. She stop her track as she saw Jimin leaning against his car while scrolling through his phone. Jimin lift his head and finally realize that Minji is in front of him. He stand up properly and saw Minji's red face with tears. Worried rush down his body as he came near her as well as she closing the gap between them. 

"What happen?" Jimin asked. Minji instantly hug him without saying a word, she cried even more by just being in front of him. 

"Minji!" A women voice call out to her and she instantly know its her mother. Jimin eyes trail to the woman. 

"Get me out from here, please." Minji pleaded. Minji let go of the hug and went inside his car. Jimin followed along. 

"But-" Jimin was about to say something as the woman are nearing his car. 

"Just go." Minji said again, this time more firm. Jimin hit the accelerator, the car moves fast before her mom can get to them. Minji look at the rear view mirror of her mom and change her gaze anywhere but there. Jimin wanted to ask so many questions, but he don't want to push her off.

"Who is that boy? and why Minji is in his car?" Minji's mom bombarded questions to his sister family. 

"That's her boyfriend." Boyoung said. She felt that Minji's mother doesn't have a right to say anything about Minji life now. 

"Boyfriend?! She has a boyfriend?" Her dad exclaimed. 

"Oh, now you care about her?" Boyoung sarcastically said. "Don't you guys dare destroying one thing that actually make her happy, or otherwise, I wouldn't even care if we related." 

Minji's parent stay quiet.

Jimin and Minji are currently at his house. She don't want to go home because she knows her parents gonna go to her house, she don't want to go to a club or anywhere, she just want to be at one place that actually make her feel comfortable. She's inside Jimin's room while they both sitting on the floor at the end of the bed, drinking. 

"It's just so unfair, they can't be like showing up in my life as if they were there in the first place." Minji said, then sip another beer in her hand. "My life is so messed up. One after the other. Gosh!" 

Jimin can't help but feel bad. He is also the source of "messed up" that Minji referring too. Minji was about to drink her beer but it was empty. She took another one but Jimin stop her. 

"Babe, you're gonna get drunk." Minji whined and sighed. 

"I don't care anymore, I don't know what to think anymore." She pull her knee closed to her chest and rest her head on her knee. Second later, she cried again.
