Hippie-Van

So I'm currently walking down main street trying to catch a cab at 12 in the morning. This might sound easy but its really hard, especially when you're trying to haul a cab with a huge suitcase to your left and a huge husky to my right. Every time a cab would slow down to pick me up they would have one good look at my dog and drive off really fast. Like how stupid would I be to stand right next to a wolf ? After the sixth cab drove off, I called Jericho over and grabbed my suitcase and started walking towards the highway. You're probably wondering why I'm walking down a highway instead of driving a car, well the answer is simple really.

I'm running away.

I couldn't stay home and see all the accusing stares and all whispers about him-who-must-not-be-said from bitches in my school, so I decided to bounce. I know, I know, you're probably thinking 'Well damn, put me on, what happened?" , "You're a coward!" and "Face your fears" and all that other bullshit but I'm not about that brave lifestyle.

'Maybe I should turn my skinny ass around and go home', I thought.

'What will that solve?', I thought back.

'Touché'.

I honestly didn't know where I was going, but I knew that I couldn't stay in this fake utopian town. Don't know utopian means? Google it.

I guess I had stopped walking because Jericho kept on nudging my leg.

"Do we dare continue Jericho?", I asked.

"Bark!", he replied.

"I'll take that as a yes", I whispered and continued forward.

After probably a hour walking down this highway. I came up with a brilliant plan. Since I wasn't going to get far by walking to another state, I should just hitchhike my ass to one! I stopped and stuck out my thumb and waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Until finally a gray Volkswagen Type 2 slowed down. The window rolled down and a there sat a extremely handsome boy riding shotgun.

"You need a ride?", he asked

"Yeah" I breathed. Still taking in his tanned skin and warm brown eyes.

"Get in"

Once he said that the door on the side opened and these two boys, twins grabbed my suitcase. I blinked. The boy in the front had nothing on these two. With grayish blue eyes and light brown hair they looked like guys straight out a movie. The one to my right called for Jericho while the one to my left grabbed my hand and helped me up into the van. Once everyone and thing was safely inside the van, and van started moving, I looked around in the van and noticed there were 2 girls excluding me and 4 boys in the car. I couldn't see the person driving so I shrugged it off. was guessing he wasn't the talkative type.

"Hi!", the twins chirped simultaneously.

"Hey, the names Beatrix"

"Cool. I'm Perry-", the first one said.

"And I'm Paris!", the second one said.

"That's Aqua and Heather", said Perry pointing to the two girls in the back. They waved.

Heather  the one on the left , i'm guessing, was blonde and had on a neon green bathing suit top and light purple high-waisted shorts. Aqua was a brunette with pink, purple, ends had on a baby blue bathing suit top and bubble gum pink shorts on. I glanced down at my Jack Daniels muscle shirt and ripped shorts and felt so out of place with the only dark clothing on. Heather whispered something in Aqua ear and Aqua glanced at me then busted out in hysterics. Jericho who was sitting right next to her barked.

"Do you have something to say?" , I thought but choose not to say it. I wasn't about to get kicked out of the van for these hoes.

"And Shotgun up there is Beau and the other one is Mr.GrumpyPants", said Paris.

'What's Up?", I said to the two.

"The sky!", Everyone shouted except myself.

Everyone started to laugh and hi-five each other. Me? I just blinked.

"It never gets old!", shouted the twins.

After the laughter died down, the person driving 'Mr.GrumpyPants' said, "I'm James". He went back to paying attention to the road.

"He speaks!', Aqua whispers. Everyone except me again laughed and did the high-five thing again.

'This is going to be a long ride', I thought.
