I'm so sorry this story is moving SO SLOWLY, both plot and uploading. I've been extremely busy with school and work that I haven't been able to sit down and just think things out.

I decided that lying to people at school was easier than explaining why I was in the woods to Peter. He wouldn't hesitate to punish me if he found out I carelessly put my life in danger like that.
Thank Goddess I was a werewolf because I would be so screwed if I couldn't move as fast as I could. I was able to shower, bandage my ankle, and get dressed with hair and makeup done by eight. Since my life was still on the line, I threw on something simple: a pair of black jeans, a slouchy rose v-neck knit sweater, and a pair of black running shoes. I was already starting to get sore, so I at least wanted to wear something comfortable.
Unfortunately, the claw marks on my arm laid at the edge of the neckline of my sweater. Someone could easily see it if I wasn't careful, so I threw on a scarf for extra precaution. I quickly gathered my glasses and backpack before I ran out the door.
I linked to Peter once I was out the door. Gotta be at school early! Eat cereal for breakfast!
That's fine, but find yourself some dinner later, I'm gonna be home late.
I let out a sigh of relief. I would be healed before he got home, and he would never know -- good.

I winced softly as I made it through the halls to Mrs. West's class. My ankle was seriously killing me. Actually my whole body was aching, but my ankle was the worst. I think I might have sprained it on top of the bite mark I received there. Dumb wolves.
"Hey!"
I made it to the classroom in one piece, and luckily no one was there yet, to see me struggle. I let out a sigh of content once I made it to my desk, and rested my head in my arms. There was still time before the first bell rang, so I decided to slip off my glasses and take a nap. Besides, sleep helped me heal faster.

**Walker's POV**
The Goddess was seriously not on my side these days. How does one handle an increase of rouges showing up, a rumor of deadly hunters, and finding ones mate all in a span of three weeks?! On top of that, attend school and a run a pack! If I wasn't in my office, I was at school -- it was a vicious cycle of all work and no play. I was getting more agitated as the days passed.
All I wanted was to spend time with my mate. That's it, but with every chance I got, something came up, and it was pissing me off. The only information I received about her was from Katie, and even then she withheld some details from me. When I asked her why, she mentioned something about upholding a girl code, or something like that.
Elise Underwood -- even her name was pretty. Everything about her made me crave her, and it felt like I was being tested by the Goddess, herself, when I found out that she was in majority of my classes, including gym. Nothing about her workout leggings and baggy shirts was helping either.
To say Elise was perfect was an understatement, and I needed her to be mine.
I initially didn't pursue her because I couldn't tell if she was human or were, and it wasn't necessarily normal for a random guy to go up to a girl and tell her that they were literally made for one another, destined to be together, soulmates, etc. I wanted to know her more by just watching her, and it was eating me alive.
