Chapter 1

*if you haven't read the first book in this series, I really suggest reading that first!*

First chapter, get hype!

ZOEYS POV
I make my way down to my lonely apartment building. Oh, you guys might be confused, let me fix that for you...

Flashback
"Guys! We're producing a music video for our song, These Girls!" Zach yells jumping around. I look up at him and smile: they've come so far.

Time skip, video shoot.

"Zoey," Daniel starts, "I- I don't know how to say this, but... I think I want something different then what we have..."

"Wh- what do you mean, Dani..."

"I- can we take a break...?"

"Was it something I did? Was it something I said...?" These questions spilled out of my mouth.

"It's not you... it's me." I only nod and storm out of the green screen room of their video shoot while pushing everyone out of my way.

The first thing I do is drive back to the boy's house. I pack most of my clothes and my phone charger and get back into my car.

Im aimlessly driving to a destination still unknown.

Where am I going? What am I going to do? I have no where to live...

I soon fly home to Minnesota to clear my head from life and all my distractions.

Time skip: Minnesota

In Minnesota, I went home for a while. I hung out with my folks and everything seemed normal again.

But, I looked for some apartments I could buy in Los Angelus, so I can go back one day: maybe one day.

End of flashback

The months seem to have been dragging along not being with Daniel, and it kills me to see him happy while I'm still a mess. The only thing keeping me going is my will to be strong and independent.

I stayed like this: always with my family, yet depressed, until Jonah and the boys got back from Jingle Ball and I move back to LA...

I can make a life out of myself: by myself.
