ZOEYS POV
"Zoey! Welcome back! Why did you tell me you were coming!?" Jonah says as he smuggles me into a hug.
"I wasn't really planing on a visit... I was going to the gym... and then Yazmeen took me here instead." I say as I hug Jonah back and look around at the house in which I used to live.
It looks the same. Like nothing has changed, besides s few piles of clothes here and there.
"How long are you staying for? We really miss you... and really want you to be back..." Corbyn says from behind where Jonah is standing.
"Bean!" I yell and run over to Corbyn and give him a hug.
"Hey, sista from anotha mista!" Corbyn says and hugs me back. "It's been a minute since I've seen you! But really, please come back, we need your sanity."
"I don't know if I'm ready to come back yet..."
"Oh I get it. Well can you at least sleep over tonight? Just like old times?"
"Ugh fine!" I say jokingly. "So what's up with you guys?" Just as I say that, we hear the door open. Before I can even turn around, Yazmeen grabs my arm and drags me up the stairs.
While she was dragging me, I saw a glimpse of the thing that have hurt me the most: Daniel.
