"Let's go." I say to Zoey. I grab her hand and bring her to her car. "Go to the boys' house, I'll be there soon"
"Fine." She says and buckles her seatbelt (safety first!) and drives away.
I walk over to Daniel who watched her car as Zoey drive away. "Now you! Oh you. You don't even- ugh."
"What did I do?!" He asks defensively.
"What did you do!? You- you fucking did everything! She- my beet friend is broken. That's what you did."
"I know. How do I fix it?"
"You can't. You know, she still wants you, but she can't want you. You, fuck, you try sleeping with those whores now to make yourself feel better but can't even do it because of how much you still love her. You're still in love with you, aren't you?"
"Yes. I'm still in love with Zoey. I haven't really talked about why I broke it off."
"Why would you ruin a perfect relationship?!"
"I got... bored."
