The Good Old Days (Synyster Gates Love Story)

"We have our first record! Our first tour and show!" Matt yelled running into the house.

I looked at him as he ran into the living room.

"We are doing a few dive bars in Anaheim." Matt started go on, "We are turning our demos into a record, and our first show is this weekend at Johnnys Bar!"

I smiled, "I'm happy for you Matt."

"Please come." He said looking at me, "I need you there. You and Val can make some shirts and sell them."

I sighed looking at him.

He gave me puppy dog eyes.

I leaned my head back, then looked at him, "I wouldn't miss Avenged Sevenfold's first show for nothing."

He smile big, "Thank you!"

Yes, my brother and Zacky had finally agreed on a band name, from the bible might add, called Avenged Sevenfold.

'But the Lord said to him, Therefore whoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.'

He ran off upstairs to do, god knows what.

I got up and went out to the back yard. I texted Jimmy, asking him to come over for my sake.

Jimmy showed up in maybe fifteen minutes.

"You okay sis?" Jimmy said sitting next to me in the grass.

I looked at him and smiled, "I'm so glad I can talk to you a out anything."

He looked at me funny.

"I mean, I can talk to Matt about a lot of stuff, but when it comes to boys, I obviously can't," I said looking at the ground, "Specially when its about Brian."

Jimmy shook his head, "What's going on in that head of yours?"

"Matt came in and told me about your first show and tour," I started telling him, "He wants me to go, but after your new years party, its so hard to be around Brian."

He wrapped his arm around me and hugged me, "I know it is, we need to find you someone to take your mind off of him. The band is a huge part of your brothers life now and I don't think Brian is going anywhere, so he's always going to be around. You have to move on."

I nodded whipping my eyes, "I know."

"I think I may have someone in mind." Jimmy said smiling.

I looked at him funny.

"Come on," He said standing up, "Lets go play pool at Johnny's Bar, he'll be there."

"Who is it?" I asked confused as I got up with him.

He pulled me out the gate and grabbed his bike, "One of Matt's old friends in his band before us."

I got on my bike, "Wont all the other guys be there?"

"Matt and Zacky are going to be at Brian's working on guitar riffs." He told me as he got on his bike.

The two of us rode over to the bar. We meet Johnny and few others there. Jimmy walked up to Justin, who was Matt's old friend he played in a band with. Jimmy sent him over to me and the two of us talked for while. We got each others number for later, then became the best team in pool that night.

The next morning, Matt wanted to go out to lunch. Brother and sister lunch. Sorta celebration for his first show coming up shortly.

"Excited?" I asked Matt as we sat at the table.

He nodded, then ordered our drinks.

"I'm proud of you." I told him

He smiled, "Thank you. So you and Brian, is that going to be okay?"
