I was minding my own business. I was sitting in my room, at my desk editing my photos from the tour we just got back from a few days ago.

Lizzy and Johnny were gone out, so I was having a nice time alone.

But that didn't last long when my brother was at my door.

"Yes?" I said with a smile as I opened the door for him.

He smiled and shook his head, "You look like such a nerd with those glasses."

I growled, "Hey!"

He laughed and walked in, "Sorry, its cute though."

I shook my head and sat on the coffee table in front of my brother as he sat on the couch.

"I have something to talk to you about." He said, his voice now started to sound like he was nervous.

"Whats wrong?" I asked getting worried.

He shook his head laughing, "No nothing is wrong." He stood up and pulled a box from his pocket, "I'm going to ask Val to marry me."

I looked up at him shocked, "Really?"

He nodded his head, "Is that a good idea?"

I jumped up and hugged his neck, "That is the best idea! Its about damn time you asked her!"

He laughed, hugging me, "Look at it?"

I stepped back, "Yes!"

He opened the box, showing me this huge diamond ring.

"Holy shit that is huge!" I yelled taking it and inspecting it.

He nodded, putting his hands in his pocket, "I had saved the money from the tour before last, just for the ring."

"Wow Matt." I said giving him the ring back, "That is so beautiful."

"Thank you. You think she'll like it?" He asked.

"Of course! She'll love it!" I told him, "She's going to say yes, you know that right?"

He sighed, "I do, but I still worry you know?"

I sat him down and sat back on the coffee table, "Matthew, you two have been together since high school. She has supported you every step of the way of your career. You've supported her, instead of going out sleeping around on people."

"Your right." He said taking a deep breath, "I plan on asking her this weekend."

"Good, and when you do. I wanna hear all about it, understand?" I said looking at him.

He nodded his head, "I will. Hey, we haven't had, brother sister time in a while, you want to hang out?"

I smiled really big, "Zombies?"

"Your on sister!" He said snatching the controller next to me.

I grabbed the other one and the two of us started to play.

After about two different games of zombies and a few random games, Val texted Matt wanting to meet up to do something. He was going to postpone it and stay with me, but I made him go. Besides, ditching your girlfriend for you sister, a few days before you ask her to marry you, was kind of lame on his part. So I wasn't going to let that happen.

But shockingly, Jimmy and Zacky were up to know good, asking me to go hang out at the old park we all use to hang out at. I wasn't not about to turn that down.

"What are we doing?" I said as I got out of my car walking to Zacky and Jimmy.

They were sitting on the dock, drinking.
