-Liz POV-

Ahh.... Nothing like a murderer breaking into your house to put you on edge the whole day.

Let's top that off, shall we? The principal and his family was murdered early last night. Oh joy. So, let's just say that I'm not the only one not at ease today.

Of all the things they teach you at school, why isn't "how to protect yourself from a murderer" on that list? I give a sigh, heading to the cafeteria. Perhaps Bret and Sophie will be able to brighten up the mood.

I pass the computer lab on the way and stop in my tracks. Could any info on the killer be online? Could I check the town webpage and leave a tip on who this guy is...?

"Miss Beaton, are you alright?" Asks the teacher, making me jump.

I nervously laugh "Uh... Yes. Could I use a computer during lunch? I don't have computer access at home, and I need to look something up."

"Sure thing!" He replies.

Taking his offer, I practically pounce to one of the computers. Hmm... Let's get this figured out, shall we? I quickly log on, and pull up Google. I type in a description of him, and click the enter key. All that comes up is a few suggestions, the first being a wiki page titled "creepypasta". I click on that, and it takes me to a story named "Jeff the killer". Hmm... Seems pretty sketchy, but heck, I'll read it anyway.

What I see freaks me out. I mean holy crap, its almost an exact description! White hoodie, black pants, knife. The only thing that is throwing me off is the burnt off eyelids and carved smile. Though, I suppose I didn't have my glasses on when I saw him...

The bell, may it burn in hell, suddenly rings, sending me half way to the ceiling. The teacher chuckles "You alright there?"

"Yeah... I'm good" I respond, closing the tabs and logging off. "Thanks Mr. Andersen! See you tomorrow!"

"Anytime! Take care of yourself!" He says as I leave.

"I'll try..." I mutter, heading off to the next class.

-Cassie POV-

I didn't get any sleep last night. I feel nauseous and sick, so Mom let me stay home. Mom left on an errand and is taking her dear old time, most likely stopping off by a wine shop or talking with a friend for an hour straight.

I should probably explain my family. My dad is a businessman who is always away. I haven't seen him in a month at the most. My mom is a finery-loving woman. She's nice, but...never ask her for advice, unless you're willing to act totally different than yourself. Or wear dresses and short-shorts and V neck bathing suits that just make you internally die.

My brother? He left for college last year. He left me his old Xbox 360 though, along with a few games.

We live in a two-story house, but it's crammed in the area that retired couples live in. Our house that used to hold four people was made to hold two elders, so you can imagine how cramped it was.

It still is.

Anyways, after that rambling flashback I suddenly am snapped out of my thought as the game turns on. I was taking a break from it, it was off...

I feel the air getting a little denser. I pale and sweat a little. I sigh. "Fine..." I mumble to the air as I reach for the controller.

Once I reach the page with different files of saved games, I pale. There's not just the "BEN" file...now there's two, and it's scaring the crap out of me.

"BEN"

"DROWNED"

I just drop the controller. "MOM?!" I yell, not caring that she isn't here. I sigh. No friends to call, nothing to help me feel less scared. No wonder why my two cats are hiding under the couch.
