Chapter 3 The Party

Lotta POV

The car came to a stop at a warehouse, it as a very dark night, the only light was The full moon high in the sky. Italy put his hand over my eyes and dragged me somewhere, there was no sound, just Italy breathing. He lifted  his hand and walked away, i was left in complete darkness. I looked around to see if i could find the lights. All of a sudden, black lights flicked on and everyone hopped out for a surprise. Everyone yelled out happy birthday and all i could do was smile. The music started to play from the DJ in the center of the room and everyone started to mingle and dance. All of a sudden, someone ran up behind me and wrapped their arms around me. I looked over my shoulder to see Sirius, my best friend, son of Greece and Japan, he has soft dark brown hair with big hazel eyes. He was wearing an army green v- neck, and black cargo shorts with some tenis.

“Happy Birthday,” He whispered in my ear

“Thanks,” I smiled as i turned around and pushed his head away, we both started laughing.

“Do you want me to get you some punch?” he asked kindly

“Sure, Im going to go request a song,” I smiled at him and started to walk toured the DJ. I was walking with my head down when I ran into someone, I looked up to see who it was. Thought it was dark, I could still see who it was, it was the boy from the mall.

“Sorry, I- I didn’t mean to run it to you,” I stuttered not making eye contact

“I-It’s ok,” He giggled nervously, “I’ve seen you around, my name is Augustus!”

“Nice to meet you Augustus, my name is Lotta,” I smiled at him.

“Do you want to go talk outside, since its really loud in here?” he grabbed my hand and I felt like I’ve meet him before….

Augustus Pov

The car rolled up to a stop at a warehouse, Romano and Spain hurried inside, I sat in the car for a minute before I got out of the car, I want up to the door and put my hand on the handle. I took a deep breath before opening the door and closing it behind me as i went inside. It as pitch black, I heard someone else breathing, but that was it. Suddenly black lights lit up and  everyone jumped up and yelled Happy Birthday, I was so surprised. The music started and everyone started to mingle and dance. I went through the crowd, everyone was saying hi and happy birthday to me as I passed. I bumped into someone, i stopped dead in my tracks, I hoped it was someone i know.

“Hey buddy, nice bumping into you, Happy b-day, by the way,” a familiar voice said

“Oh thank goodness,” I smiled and looked up at him. It was my best friend Mikkel, son of Denmark and Norway. He had spiky beach blond hair and dark blue eyes, he was wearing a red “golf” shirt, a pair of black basketball shorts with a chain on his left hip, and some high-top sneakers.  We started to talk about random stuff and talking about how my life has changed so much in one day. I started to dance with Mik and we were laughing, when someone bumped into me. I turned around to see who it was, even through the dark, i know who it was, It was the girl from the airport and mall.

“Sorry, I- I didn’t mean to bump into you,” She said nervously not looking at me

“I-its ok,” I chuckled, “I’ve seen you around, my name is Augustus!”

“Nice to meet you, my name is Lotta,” she started to turn red as she smiled up at me. Lotta such a pretty name for a beautiful being. It fits her perfectly.

“Do you want to go talk outside, since its really loud in here?” I asked as a grabbed her hand, it fit perfectly in mine, i could feel my cheeks heating up and turning red.

3rd Person POV

Augustus and Lotta ran outside to the back of the warehouse, they sat on the edge of the sidewalk and talked about random things.

“So today is your birthday as well, Augustus?” Lotta chuckled

“Ya, and you can just call me Augy,” Augy smiled back at her

“And your parents sent you to live with France and England when you were two years old… and not allowed to move back in to your parents house until your 14th birthday?”

“Yep, and your parents sent you away to live with Russia and Poland when you were a year old and not allowed to live with your parents tell your 13th birthday?”

“Yep.” They both started laughing their heads off. The temperature had dropped drastically since the sun had gone down and the wind was starting to pick up. Lotta leaned her head on Augys’ shoulder and started shivering because she wasn’t wearing a coat. Augy pulled her close and put his coat around her. She nuzzled her head and feel asleep, Augy put his head on hers and fell asleep as well. Mik and Sirius came outside looking for Lotta and Augy as it was time for cake and for them to open presents. Augy woke up when he heard his name and gentually tryed to wake up Lotta, but it didn’t work. When Mik and Sirius got to the back of the warehouse where the two were sitting, as soon as they turned the corner and saw them, Sirius ran to Lotta and Augy. He grabbed Lotta by her arm and drags her off of Augy, waking her up.

“WHAT THE!!!” Lotta yelled angrily as she was dragged of Augy.  “What are you doing?!?”

“I thought that something bad was going on,”  Sirius scratched the back of his head.

“Nothing was going on,” Augy stood up and brushed himself off

Sirius glared at him with hateful eyes and holding Lotta close to his body.

“He’s right, nothing is going on,” Lotta furiously pulled away from Sirius.

Lotta got up and grabbed Augys hand and dragged him back inside. The cake and presents went by pretty quick, they both tried to open all the presents as fast as possible so they could get back outside. Lotta was ignoring Sirius and only focusing on Augy. After about 45 minutes they were both outside again and talking about random stuff. But before they know it, it was 11pm and time to go home.

“Goodnight, Lotta!” Augy smiled and kissed her hand

“Goodnight, Augy!” Lotta leaned in and gave Augy a kiss on the cheek. Then she turned away and walked to the car, she waved as she ducked into the car. Augy turned a bright red and walked back to the party room to help clean up.
