Chapter 6 The Truth

Lotta POV 

It's been about two months since Augy and I started dating, we sit next to each other in class and are very happy but for the past week, I can see that something's bugging Augy. Something has been bugging me as well, and im hoping that its the same thing bugging Augy. Today after school Augy and I are going to Miks house to study for a geometry test. Mik was the first person we told about to us dating but not the whole cousin thing, as far as he knows, Augys parents dont like me all that much and he's not allowed over to my house and im not welcome to his.

I was so lost in my train of thought,that I didn't hear the dismissal bell ring. Augy grabbed my hand and dragged me out into the hallway, our lockers were right next to each other so we didn't have to go very far to see each other during the passing period. He didn't say anything, he opened my locker then proceeded to open his. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly.

"I love you," I whispered into his ear

"I love you, too" He whispered back. Once our school baggs had been packed we walked to the other side of the school to get Mik. Miks locker was in the East Oner Wing because he was part of the student council and had really good grades. When we got there he was flirting with a group of girls has he always does after school. Augy grabbed his arm and dragged him away from the girls, I rolled my eyes as the sound of sadness left their mouths. Miks house was only a few blocks away from school so we walked there, he walked a few feet in front of Augy and I. No one said anything as we walked.

Augy POV 

Lotta was unusually quiet today, somethings on her mind, I just know that there is. Mik was in front of us and was very quiet as well but thats how he is when there's not a bunch of people around to talk to, uspealy girls. I reached my hand out and slid it into Lottas packet and grabbed her hand out. She turned her head and smiled at me, I smiled back. We walked the rest of the way holding hands. When we got to Miks house, we all went to his room and had a set on his bed. Mik got up and told us he was going to get some snacks, he closed the door behind him and Lotta and I were completely alone together. She turned to look at me, I grabbed her and pulled her close, she wrapped her arms around me as well.

"Ok, want is on your mind?" She had a sad voice, I know that she was concerned about something

"I don't know, Lotta, I think we need to tell someone about us but who" I held her tight

"I know, we need to tell one of our parents"

"We can't tell Romano for adverse reasons and I don't know how Spain would talk it"

She looked up at me with big eyes, "I know, we should tell Italy because he can keep a secret and will support us!"

"Thats a great idea," I kissed her on the top of her head she started giggling.

A Few Hours Later

It was almost time for Romano to pick me up, when my phone to ring, i looked at the caller ID, Romano. I was quick to answer it as I went to the bathroom to get some privacy for the call.

"Hey, buddy Spain and I had a last minute problem, we won't be able to pick you up from Miks house, but Italy said he would pick you up and you can have dinner with them."

"What about Germany and my cousin?"

"Germany is on a business trip, so he's not home and I think that you should at least meet your cousin."

"Ok thanks of tellinging me Father." I hung up the phone and ran back to Miks room. Lotta smiled at me, she had just received a text from Italy telling her about me going home with her.

Italy arrived a few minutes after Lotta and I went down stairs and sat out on the porch. We got in the car and Italy smiled at us, we sat in the back and watched the waves crash on the beach as we went to my ankles house. When we arrived Lotta ran up the stairs to her room, I ran after her.

Lotta POV 

I ran to my room hoping that Augy would chase after me. He arrived at my room a few moments after I did. I smiled at him, he walked over to the balcony and stared out over the waves. He looked over his shoulder and smiled, I walked over to the balcony and sat on the ledgy. We started talking about random stuff as we watched the sun set over the horizon. After an hour of laughs and a few kisses here and there, Italy opened the door with a smile on his face.

"Dinners ready!" He said cheerfully

"We'll be down in a second Papa," I grabbed Augys arm and walked back into the room.

We walked down stairs the table and sat down. Augy smiled at me and I smiled back. Italy placed a big tray in the middle of the table and lifted the cover, giving the room a warm tasty aroma. Augys eyes went wide when he saw what was on the tray. It was a German dish that he had been wanting to try for a very long time, Bratwurst. Italy gave him two of them and then me too as well, then gave himself two.

"Guten Appetit!" Italy and I said, Augy gave me a worried look

"It means Enjoy your meal in German" I smiled at him, he smiled back and started to eat. The dinner table was quiet, there was any awkward tension filling the air. Italy looked up at me and then looked at Augy.

"Papa, we have something we need to tell you," I took a deep breath

"What is it honeysuckle," He smiled at me

I took another deep breath, "Well, Augy, Augy and I, we're, uhh, d-dating..." Italy continued eating, not fazed at all. He looked up and had a big smile on his face, he wasn't mad.

"Alright," He said cheerfully, "Just don't tell Romano and Germany, it will be our little secret!"Augy and I smiled at each other.I got up and ran to hug Augy, Italy joined us in the hug. We all smiled, knowing that this was the right thing for Augy and I!
