* Nikolina's P.O.V *
" What's wrong with mama ? " I asked , worried .
Aunt Tatia sighed.
" I'm afraid I don't know. I'm sure she'll be alright though . Nothing to worry about , Nikki . Your mother is incredibly strong . " Aunt Tatia said and I couldn't help but feel like she was lying to me .
" Who's strong ? " Uncle Kol said , walking in .
" Anna . " Aunt Tatia said .
" Oh , hell yes . Like a freaking yak . " Uncle Nik said , walking in.
Aunt Tatia rolled her eyes .
" So , Nikolina ... what's got your father so pissed off ? " Uncle Nik asked .
" Yeah , we could hear the door slam in Cuba . " Uncle Kol said , chuckling .
" Well I .... I have date . " I said , lookinh down .
Everyone burst out laughing.
" No . " Uncle Nik said , laughing.
" Yes . " I said, crossing my arms .
" Oh.... I think she was serious . " Uncle Kol said , stopping his laughter .
" Of course I am ! Why did you think I was jokeing ? " I asked, annoyed.
" To be honest , Nikki , dear , I thought we'd scared him off . " Uncle Nik said .
I rolled my eyes .
" It doesn't matter . Papa won't let me go . " I muttered.
" Of course he will . He will if your mother agrees . He ALWAYS agrees with your mother . " Uncle Kol said
" No . Anna isn't well , Kol . " Aunt Tatia said , quietly .
" What do you mean not well ? She's already dead ! She's UNdead . " Uncle Nik said .
" Look , I don't know. If anyone will know what's wrong with her , it'll be Elijah . He's intune to everything she does . Every breath she takes . " Aunt Tatiana said .
Tatherina , aunt Rebekah and and aunt Katherine walked over pulling my upstairs .
" Time to make you pretty for your date . " Tatherina said.
* Anastasia's P.O.V *
I couldn't tell him . I just couldn't . Not until I believed it myself . It was impossible . Merely impossible . What's happening to me . When I was human , I just shrugged it off but now I can't . I just can't . Deep down, I know that if I shrug it off this time , there couldn't be a second time for me . I'm not sure I completely understand it yet . I knew mama had it , but then why doesn't Tatia have it ? I looked over at Elijah . He was gazing at me with eyes full of worry . I tried to manage a weak smile but the second I tried , I knew he didn't beleieve me . The only downsidw of knowing someone for so long .... they can tell when you're lying .
* Nikolina's P.O.V *
Once I was made over , pretty and hairsprayed , I walked downstairs and opened the door to see Jesse standing there with flowers nervously .
" Oh. Thanks . " I said when he handed me the flowers .
I motioned him in .
" I'll be right back , let me put these in water . " I said , hurrying into the kitchen .
* Elijah's P.O.V *
" Anna , darling . I'll be right back . " I said kissing her hand .
She nodded weakly and shut her eyes .
I walked downstairs and saw Jesse standing there . THAT boy . That stupid boy that thought he was good enough for MY darling Nikolina . He immediatly tensed when I walked in the room . Smart .
" A word . " I said .
Jesse nodded .
" Yes sir . " he said , nervously .
We walked into the study and I shut the door .
" You fancy my only daughter ? " I asked , sitting down.
" Fancy ? I mean , yes . Yes sir . " he said .
I smiled .
" I just want her to be happy . She's after all my little girl and my little princess . " I said .
" Yes sir . " he agreed .
" I just want you to know that I have friends in VERY high places and I don't want to have to call them . Have her back by 10:00 . Any later and I'll have every person on the planet looking for you . " I said , shining my sharp bejewled letter opener .
He gulped .
" Yes sir . " he said and walked out .
* Jesse's P.O.V *
There was something seriously wrong with this family . I couldn't quite put my finger on it , but there was something ......
I really like Nikki . Maybe I'll be able to tell her my secret .
* Elijah's P.O.V *
I picked up the phone and called Klaus .
" Hello ,Mr Serious ? What can I do for you ? he asked .
" What are you and Kol up to tonight ? " I asked .
" Nothing . Why ? " Klaus asked .
" Oh, no reason . Just wondering if you wanted to catch dinner and a movie . "
