If you knew what was on the other side, would you answer the call? I think about that a lot these days. What would happen if I ignored that call, ignored the truth. I know I wouldn't be able to dodge it forever, but maybe if I was ready something would have changed. Oh gosh I wish. That fateful day.... That cruel dark day consisted of that call. I was just sitting alone in my house, Spencer had gone out to get something for us to eat. He was going to cook for this date, but he just had no ideas, he wanted things to be perfect, and he knew that he wasn't a perfect cook. It was cute, he was just sweet and romantic like that. I was sitting on the couch flipping through channels, all stupid and cheesy shows. That's when the phone rang, I just simply walked up to it. I wasn't worried at all, because I didn't know what was on the other side.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Savannah Mitchel?" A stern voice said.
"Yes... Who is this?" I asked.
"I'm Officer Barry... Your boyfriend, Spencer, he was in a car accident. It was bad.. He's being rushed to the hospital." He said.
"Wha...." I couldn't speak.
"What hospital? I need to know where he is.. I need to... I need to see him.." I demanded.
"Memorial.... Ma'am I need you to stay calm." He said.
Stay calm? Stay calm! How could I stay calm! The love of my life got into a car accident.
"I'm going to see him." I said softly.
"Okay ma'am.. Just know, it was pretty bad." He said.
Pretty bad was just an understatement.

RomanceSavannah Mitchel learns that love doesn't always have to be about the romance, it's also about sticking with the one you love no matter what. She definitely has to do that for Spencer after she got the dreaded phone call.
