This Should Be Good

I turned my bike off as I pulled up to Emily's house. She must've heard me because she met me on the porch, with the usual smile.

"Hey Ava." She said, pulling me into a hug. I hugged her back before following her into the house. I kicked off my heels and sat on the couch.

"Where are the boys?" I asked. Since I met the boys a week ago, everytime I come over the house has always been noisy.

"Out doing their job." She sighed, pausing a second to look out the window.

I knew she was worried about Sam because she always glances out the window whenever he's not here.

I'm jealous of their relationship. They seem so in love and anyone in a five mile radius can feel the love that surrounds the two.

"I bet they'll be back soon." She nodded and went back to cleaning the counter.

"So where's Bella?" I stood up from the couch and walked to the fridge.

"She was having a bad day so she was gonna take a walk." Emily nodded. "She misses him a lot, doesn't she?" I sighed, nodding.

"She's still broken. She's trying to hide it but I know my best friend."

It was silent for a moment before the front door slammed opened.

"Harry had a heart attack." Jared said, out of breath. I gasped and ran over to him.

Emily dropped the rag in her hand and ran out of the house. Jared grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door.

The three of us hopped in Sam's truck and Jared drove us to the Clearwater's home.

I stood off to the side, out of the way. Everyone from the pack was here except Jacob.

Harry's wife and two kids had surrounded themselves around Harry and stayed there for most of the night. We all knew he wasn't gonna last and even though I didn't know him well it still broke my heart.

"Hey." Paul said, walking over to me. I gave him a weak smile keeping my eyes on the family infront of me.

A tear ran down my face as Harry mumbled a few words to his family before his eyes slowly closed.

"Shh." Paul said, pulling me to his chest. I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him closer. He ran a hand up and down my back as I cried into his chest.

Being here reminded me of losing my dad. I have tried so hard to push that to the back of my mind but sometimes it crawls its way back to the front.

I pulled away and walked out of the house. I sat on the steps infront of the house and stared up at the clouds.

"You okay Avalanna?" I looked up and saw Sam. I nodded, "to much in there." He nodded. "Well you should go see Bella. She had a accident. "

I shot up from the stairs. Sam nodded before walking back into the house. My bike was at Emily's so I quickly ran there and hoped on my bike, taking off to Bella's house.
