3rd Person POV

Batman walked into the meeting hall in the Justice League's on Earth base. As the doors opened on queue, Batman walked into impatient chatter. He sighed an inaudible sigh.

"You're late," Superman stated as Batman sat down in his spot.

"Got caught up in some trouble."

"Batman. Your hurt." Black Canary said as she pointed to his wrists, which had bled through his gloves.

"I'm fine."

"Batman, what happened?" Superman asked hastily.

"Just two street criminals."

He slid his Batarang-computer-laptop-thing to Superman. Superman downloaded the file onto each of the computers in front of the Leaguers present. There was a picture of none other than Scarlet and Ace.

"The one on the left goes by Ace. The one on the right goes by Scarlet." Superman read from the small file Batman compiled.

"Just two street criminals, huh, Batsy?"

Batman glared at the Flash. The man in the scarlet red and yellow suit just gave an awkward laugh in the silent room. Tension levels in said room began to run extensively.

"Does anyone know anything else helpful about these guys?" Superman asked.

Someone in all green and wearing a hood raised his voice a little.

"Me and my protege, Roy, may know a little bit."

All the leaguers present looked at Green Arrow. He just shrugged and dialed on his phone to make a call to his protege.

When Roy arrived it was almost midnight. The only leaguers who remained in the meeting room were Batman, Black Canary, Superman, and Green Arrow. The mentor and protege pair sat next to each other on one side of the table while the other three sat on the side across from them.

"Can we make this quick? I don't got all night." Roy hissed impatiently.

"It will be as long as it has to be, Roy." Black Canary replied coolly.

(As for appearances, it's the Green Arrow and Roy from Arrow. Roy's personality is from Young Justice. Black Canary is just from Young Justice.)

"What do you remember about the pair?"

"Well," Green Arrow started, "About a year ago I found a boy and girl in an alleyway. The girl had been shot in the right leg and the bullet then hit her left leg. I took them to my 'hideout' and helped heal the girl."

Roy continued, "It didn't occur to us why she got shot until a news report came on about a...week later. It was about two fugitives who were on the run after getting out of police custody. And...low and behold...it was them."

"What did you do to them?" Batman questioned.

"Well, actually, they kind of got away;" said Green Arrow, "they snuck out."

"Any distinct features on either of them?"

Roy and Green Arrow nodded at the same time,"Their hair color isn't natural, it's dyed. Scarlet's hair is actually blonde and Ace's hair is actually black."

Roy asserted, "And they each have what looks like a tattoo on their shoulder. It looks something like this..."

(Picture located at the top)

"Thanks for your help. You can both go now."

Roy went to bed feeling guilty. He didn't tell the leaguers the truth or at least not all of it.
