A Hacking Thief or A Thieving Hacker

Chapter Three: The Heist at Wayne Enterprises

Olivia/Scarlet POV

"You ready to go Ace?"

He nodded as we hopped onto our motorcycles. Ace's motorcycle was a polished black flake paint. It sparkled differently in the moonlight than in the sunlight, which I thought was cool. My motorcycle was a normal, dull black paint with a scarlet seat and handlebars. Oh, wait did I say our motorcycles. I meant our stolen motorcycles.

As we drove through the city's backstreets something seemed different. Or was it out of place? I really do not know. All I know is something was off.

We jumped off our motorcycles and hid them in a bush. Unsuccessfully, may I add. We found a panel to open the door. I plugged in my flash drive and started to hack into the system. While I was doing that, Ace was creating the "perfect sword." He wasn't doing a very good job of it; even though he would never admit it.

"I'm in. Let's go."

We snuck in eerily silent. 'It's upstairs.' Ace mouthed to me. The pair of us tiptoed up the stairs. I approached a large computer system. I sat down and plugged my flash drive in. I smirked. The idiot worker didn't shut off the computer. Thanks for that idiot worker. I scanned the system for "inaccessible" files, found one. I started to hack into the firewall. I looked back at the multiple lines of previous code. My work had been undone.

"Ace!" I hissed.

He came in looking worried.

"What?"

"Someone's here."

I hacked faster than normal. Screw it. I used my powers to bypass the firewall. Yes! I downloaded the correct file. I pulled out the flash drive. I looked around and picked up a lone CD on a counter. I stood next to Ace outside the room.

"Come out you wimps!"

As if on cue,  five figures came out of the shadows. They were Kid Flash, Artemis, Miss Martian, Squid Kid (hehehehe), and Robin.

"Just come with us and nobody will get hurt." Squid Kid stated.

"Come on, Squid Kid! Where's the fun in that?"

"It's Aqualad." He hissed.

I grabbed a perfume bottle out of my bag and a lighter. Martians. Martians and their strong weakness...Weakness to fire.  I lit the perfume bottle and tossed it at the Martian. She screamed an ear piercing scream. 

Robin glanced briefly over at the Martian. It gave Ace enough time to leap at Robin. He held Dual Katanas to Robin's and Kid Flash's throat. 

"Hey guys," I heard him sneer. 

An arrow whizzed by my cheek. I grabbed the arrow in mid-flight and attached the CD to it. A water sword came in contact with the arrow. I used my powers to control the arrow. I stabbed him in the gut with the arrow. I sauntered up to him and pulled the CD off the arrow.

"So sorry, Squid Kid." I sneered.

Alec was barely holding his own against Robin and Kid Flash. I held the CD like a throwing star and used my power to chuck it at Kid Flash's leg. It hit his leg perfectly. He fell to the floor gripping his leg.

Suddenly, I felt like I forgot about someone. I felt a dark prick my neck. Artemis. I watched as Robin stuck a dart in Ace's neck. That was my last thought as I was engulfed in darkness.
