               Chapter 7

  Dimiri's eyes burned with fury. He hated sending me in to someone who only lives to kill me. They were all behind me I told myself.  "Tasha?" No answer. Out of the corner a strigoi attacked. Acting on instinct I grabbed my staking. I kicked it the chest as it grabbed at me. Knocking it down for a second then another grabbed me from behind."Ah,so she falls."I turned seeing Tasha. "What can I say?" I shrugged."You send your little friends here to do your dirty work." Her smile widened."Well I did make new friends pretty quick." The door flew opened and there was Lisa. "What the hell are you doing?" I hissed. "Oh, Rose. Have you met Richard. He just happens to speacialize in spirt especially super compulsion.

   They come first. It was burned in my mind and there stood Lisa in danger."They can come in now." She motioned for the door. Christain was the first in. "Aunt Tasha." She froze. "Let them go!" She met his eyes for only a moment. "Oh, Dimka." She smiled."Adrian is free to go." He was dragged out of the room drained of blood. He was unconscious. "Now Rose you have a decision to make. You or her." Her eyes twinkled. Dimiri stepped foward. "Ill kill you." He vowed."How touching." She rolled her eyes."Me." She whipped her head around."How brave Rose." Dimitri fought the strigoi handling me but more came out. "Just me." She motioned upstairs toward the roof. I could hear the fighting go on. My death won't be penciled in I reminded myself. They come first. "This is for my life." She hissed. "Oh stop being so dramatic."She slapped me across the face. "Rose!" It was Liss. She not they come first. I stepped onto the platform and closed my eyes. "Roza!" I opened my arms wide and took a breath as I felt myself falling.....
