When I woke up I was not in a familiar bed and I wasn't in the clothes I was in when I passed out. I looked around and saw I was in a cell. The other guys were in the ones around mine in a circle with a metal table in the middle of them. I tried to sit up but the pain coursing through my body immobilized me. A man in a lab coat walked in and over to the cell with Lui in it. He moved on to the next cell and the next I closed my eyes and tried to pretend I was asleep when he got to mine.
"I know you're not asleep," he said and I opened my eyes and looked at him. "Well you are my prize here. Two powers in one person, my men will have fun with you."
"What are you going to do with us?" I asked.
"Well see you are a genetic defects and I want to find out everything about you. Since you are awake I think you can go through the first test." He pushed a button on the radio he had and said something into it that I couldn't hear. He then went to the next cell and left me. After a minute a large man came over to the cell I was in. He opened the door and walked over to me. I couldn't move but I wanted to get away from this man. He walked over to me and picked me up bridal style. He brought me to the metal table in the middle of the room and there were people with lab coats standing around it. My arms and legs were strapped down to the table and the man that I was talking with earlier stood over me. "So you have the powers of flight and healing. Very strange combination. This will sting for a bit but you'll be fine."
He grabbed a syringe filled with light blue liquid in it. I tried to move away from him to no avail from the straps holding me down and the pain in my body. He stabbed the syringe in my neck and I screamed as the liquid was put in my bloodstream. He gave me a smirk and left with the rest of the people. The pain in my body got worse and I screamed out as the seconds went by. Tears were streaming down my face and the pain kept getting worse. Darkness soon clouded my vision and the last thing I saw was the guys waking up.
