Flying High (Terrorknuckle) (Superhero AU)

Chapt. 15

     The walls went higher than I could see upwards and seemed to go on forever.  I went down the long hall like way until I got to a fork in the path. 
     "Which way do I go?"
     "I think it would be wise to wait a second and evaluate your options." 
     "Okay." I stood there thinking about which way to go until the ground started to move a little.  I looked up and saw letters floating in front of me it said 'Choose the right path or lose a life'.  "What does that even mean?"
      "Think about it, this is your mind." 
      "Yeah this is my mind." I thought on the question for I minute until the answer hit me.  "Right's always right."
     "Are you sure that's the answer." 
      "Yes because when I don't know what to pick I pick the thing on the right."
     "Okay."  I walked in the right way and a loud noise chimed.  I sighed in relief and kept going on.  It was a straight path up until I got to a break with three ways.  I walked up to the ways and looked down each way.  I stood there and waited for anything to come out and ask me something. 
     "Well is anything going to happen?" Right as I said that the ground moved and a dark being stood in front of me. 
      "You must answer my question truthfully to find the right way," the being said in a despairing voice. 
      "Yes I'll solve it."
      "What is your greatest fear?"
      "That is a hard one." I thought on it for a minute until I figured something out.  "I'm petrified of tigers"
     "Is that the answer you answer with?"
     "Yes it is." The being stepped to the side and motioned to the path on the left.  I headed in the direction and as I got in everything went completely black.  I opened my eyes and saw that I was back in front of the being.  "What happened?"
      "You answered incorrectly.  I ask again what is your greatest fear?"
      "I don't know what it would be if it's not that.  Guy do you have any idea what it might be?"
      "I do not know for sure but I think you need to think deeper on this answer."
      "I'm trying I can't think of what the answer would be."  I thought on the question again until I got another answer.  "My uncle Kevin?"
      "Is that answer you answer with?"
      "Yes." The being moved and motioned towards the way on the right.  I headed in it and everything went dark again.  "Oh come on."
      "You answered incorrectly.  I ask again what is your greatest fear?" 
     "I don't know.  I already got this wrong twice can't I just go through?"  The being shook their head.   "Guy do you have any advice for me?"
      "Well you did tell me about how you didn't want to have a relationship with people because they die."
      "Your right."  I thought on that until the real answer came to me.  "I'm afraid of killing anymore people I love."  The being looked happy with that answer. 
      "Is that the answer you choose to answer with?"
     "Yes." The being moved and motioned me to the center path.  I headed in it and as I got into it I heard the noise chime again.  I kept on down the path to the next obstacle.
