You jumped when John gently grabbed your arm, laughing as you tried to squeeze after you child between the guests.
"John, that thing is sharp!" you huffed and he shook his head.
"Why are you even worrying? The kid's just going to ignore the toy and play with the box." John replied before you could rush off again.
"He isn't just going to..." you trailed off when the child rushed back, bouncing off tables and sporting the box his gift had come in. "Well that's worse he might hurt more people!" You objected and John chuckled as he lifted the child onto his shoulders.
