I actually liked May. She was like the female version of Ash in a way. She absolutely loved food. I mean the amount of food she would eat would be almost as much as Ash. She's also very energetic which at times is pretty fun to watch. For some reason I don't know why but when they are doing something interesting on their Journey May would always say "this week on Mays Expedition" and start talking about what's going on which was kind of weird. Yet it made her character a little funny to me. She didn't like Pokemon at first which I'll admit it bothered me but when she got her torchic she started to take a liking into them. But her start of her Journey in trying to catch Pokemon is just like Ashs. She made the same mistake trying to just use a pokeball instead of battling the only difference is she had no idea what moves her torchic had! Which it was entertaining watching her fail. She eventually got the hang of it once she had faith in herself. She decided though that she didn't want to be a Pokemon trainer but her dream was to be a Pokemon coordinator which even though I never understood what was so fascinating about it I didn't think she did that bad. In my opinion when I first saw her I thought she kinda looked like misty in a way. Not exactly but just a little bit. Oh and May also likes Misty and as you all know Misty's my fav so any character that likes Misty I will like too.
