"What?" Doctor demanded.
"You've always wished that just asking what the plan is would work," Prince rubbed his temple, "So... Just ask."
"Alright," Doctor hesitated, "What's your plan? Tell me your whole plan."
"I'm gonna follow in your footsteps a bit," he smirked, "I'm gonna go and save the world a couple times... Pick up a companion or two... Make a life for myself."
"Li-" he started.
"Prince, Dad," Prince interrupted, "My name's Prince."
"Prince?" Doctor raised an eyebrow, "Where'd that come from?"
"Ezibel suggested it," Prince shrugged, "My turn."
"What?" Doctor demanded, "Who ever said you got a turn?"
"Fine then," Prince leaned against the TARDIS's control panel, "I won't answer anymore questions, then."
"Fine," Doctor glared, "Is this like... A two questions per?"
"Yep," Prince smirked, "Now... What'd you do with the manual to the TARDIS?"
"I threw it in a super nova," Doctor shrugged.
"Why the HECK would you do that?" Prince disbelieved.
"Because I disagreed with it," Doctor replied, "My turn. Where'd you and that girl go?"
"The... Uh... TARDIS junkyard," Prince replied, "And she had a name, you know."
"Yeah," Doctor nodded, "I did know... Her name was Ezibel. I keep track of names, Son."
"Then stop calling her 'That girl'" Prince hissed, "She was a lot more than just some girl... She was a whole lot more than that."
"Alright, then," Doctor sighed, "What happened to her, then? Did you take her home?"
"No..." Prince sighed, "No... When we went to the TARDIS junkyard, Sexy had the opportunity to take human form again... When Ezibel was shot, she gave up a little of her power to my TARDIS, which was really just an empty shell at the time. It was the scariest and loveliest thing I'd ever seen."
"Oh..." Doctor comprehended.
"Gallifrey," Prince started in, "Is it still around? Is there still a Gallifrey?"
"Yeah," Doctor muttered, after a minute, "It's all but deserted, now... And I wouldn't be surprised if some of my enemies decided to stake out there."
"Well... What are we doing here?" Prince exclaimed, "Why don't we go take it back? We can make new Time Lords... Just like we did with Mom... It'd be brilliant, Dad! Think of the possibilities! You could help! Help recreate the Time Lords."
"No," Doctor shook his head, "That would never work. Gallifrey is dead, Prince... Gallifrey has long been dead. Both of the suns went out and what's left of the once beautiful planet is just charcoal... There's no hope for that planet, anymore."
"What about... The Time Lords!" Prince pressed, "We could still create more Time Lords! We could save our race! It'd be Glamourous, Dad! Think about it!"
I'd never work," Doctor shook his head, "I'm sorry, Prince, but it's just not how things work... I'm really sorry."
"You could help me, Doctor," Prince repeated, quietly.
"No, Son," he sighed, "No I can't."
