Look, it isn't my fault that my previous form went around destroying bad guys. Hi, my name is Padro, and this is the story of how I had to deal with my former form's actions. It was a sunny afternoon when it all started.
I was walking back to the Gems' hub, me and the rest of my team's home, after a long day. I had been helping some villagers rebuild their houses after a storm destroyed them. (They were HELPLESS! They couldn't even punch a tree.) As I passed the magical border that protected our hub from bad guys, I immediately felt better. The Hub consisted of seven large houses, one for each of the Gems. Me, Draco, Purple, RaRa, Prince I, Madame Spud, and Sylvia. All the houses surrounded a large fountain with a beacon inside (A beacon is a magical block that helps heal us if we're hurt). As I walked towards my home, I passed Draco having 'fun' smashing some silverfish with some pebbles with his psychic powers.
"Hey, Draco!" I said as I passed him.
"Yes, hello and all that." He grumbled as he stood up and used a pebble as the imaginary bottom of a golf put, swung, and threw a silverfish into the air beyond our border and into the sky above.
I continued walking towards my home when I spotted Purple, our team Builder, talking to Madame Spud, our team manager. I waved up at Purple and she waved back, signalling to come inside. Since her house was next to mine, it didn't take long to go inside and throw my backpack in the living room on the ground floor.
"Hey Purple!" I shouted up the stairs next to me.
"Hey, Padro!" She shouted back. "Come up here, there's something I want to show you!"
I raced up the stairs as fast as I could. When Purple wants to show me something, it's always cool.
As I reached the top of the stairs, I greeted Madame Spud and Purple.
"Hey Padro, look at this!" Purple said.
The room was dark, but something inside was emitting light. Purple shut the door behind me. There was a small coffee table in front of me, and it had a small purple cube on it. That's what was emitting light! It also had some weird symbols that I didn't understand.
"What is it?" I questioned Purple.
"It's called the Joonpar!" She said back to me
"It's the block that protects our hub, Padro." Madame Spud said
"But what do those symbols mean?" I asked
On the cube, there were three symbols - S, H, and P.
She pointed to the first symbol and said, "That means Protect" she then pointed to the second symbol "That means heal." And finally, she pointed to the third. "That one means to hide."
"Cool!" I replied "Ooh! What language is it in?"
"It's Joonarpiarinan. It's the old language of Pixel."
"Ah," I replied
Then, suddenly, my pocket started vibrating.
"Sorry!" I mouthed as I walked out of the darkened room. I pulled out my small bamboo flute from my pocket. See, my flute isn't a normal flute, it's been enchanted. It lets me, if I play the correct tune, to turn the flute into anything – in reason, of course.
I played two high notes, and two low notes as my flute morphed into a mobile phone. I answered the call that was on the screen. It was RaRa!
"HI!" RaRa shouted in my ear
"Aah!" I shouted in panic
"I need fishies! Fishies... fishes... fishies? FISHIES!" She declared a little too loudly.
