Welcome to Florenelle

The land of Florenelle is a rather troubled place. A war between two superpowers is perhaps the most notable occurrence in the continent of Europa, that being the empires of both Trinidad and the Triumvirate. Wars are indeed troublesome but Thracallia immediately got sucked into it once it was discovered by the two superpowers for expanding their imperial ambitions.

Now that it's been revealed, there's one topic that's been spreading around: The Enlightenment. The ideals of keeping monarchs in check and supplying the people with simple rights are the summary but it goes in depth, with the General Rights detailing the specifics, which is the manifesto of the enlightenment.

Of course, some are wary of what all this madness entails. Only in the end result of a revolution will it become clear again.

Today, find our band of explorers heading to Regalia.

Character Backstories

Perceval Drudge

I'm aware I'm a human skeleton and no, I'm not dead, I'm undead. How I ended up like this is a matter that's complicated and yet, without my memoirs, your guess is as good as mine.

According to my memoirs, I lived a comfortably rich life within the Drudge family line. My days were filled with joy and laughter. However, those days were quickly numbered once my father became ill. Because I was the oldest of the Drudge family, I would get a larger portion of the inheritance while my five siblings had crumbs compared to my share. Of course, their envy was very evident when we read the will. Later on, I found a letter detailing how three of my siblings planned to murder me to get the larger share instead. The problem is that the signatures were unfamiliar to me and I didn't know who to trust. Paranoia claimed the best of me, which is why I killed to save my life. I believed if I kill my siblings first, they couldn't kill me.

However, I murdered two of my innocent siblings to remove witnesses, including a few members of the staff. Such guilt quickly overwhelmed me as I lost trust in many individuals. Although, due to my insufferable agony of grief and guilt, I sought out a necromancer, hoping to find an answer. He explained to me that a deal would be required to be at peace at last: Be living again as a skeleton and redeem myself through helping others. I'd only be at peace once I felt fulfilled and have done the greatest service.

Upon rising from the grave some unknown time later, I found a kenku running from a skeleton horde. I had to save this individual known as Peep from the debacle he got himself into. We also met Kethra the same night to heal his wounds. I'll admit, ever since, I practically adopted him. I can only hope to provide a better future for him...

Peep

My life began in a flock like most kenku. Because we're cursed with the inability to be creative, it's inevitable that we're found roaming the streets. Growing up, my parents helped our leader provide for everyone in the flock. Still, the only entertainment I had was outside the city walls of Regallia, hunting monstrosities roaming the area or causing trouble with the authorities. Danger and I became too close during that time...

Eventually, the lord of the town became fed up with the troubles we've been causing and flushed us out of the alleyways and crevices we hid in. My parents sacrificed themselves to let me run off outside and I still have their feathers as the only means to remember them.

While fleeing, I found myself in a graveyard. Turns out the undead weren't fond of that cause they started chasing after me for some reason. If it weren't for Perceval Drudge, I'm confident I would've died without his intervention. I still stay with him as he's the closest friend I have to this day.
