This is the first finished piece of 2018! It is of an OC of mine that I recently made. She was supposed to be very energetic and cheerful, so I tried showing that through the pose. I had an idea that her color scheme was orange and pink. I threw in some dark blue to add contrast to the pastel colors. To add to her character, I put a heart shaped beauty mark on her face.

One thing I don't like is my chibi style. I dunno why I keep doing this, but I tend to draw my chibis

I also think the eyes are a bit far apart for my liking, but she still looks cute either way. It was fun to do an actual piece instead of little doodles and stuff. I want to do a full body of something though, and practice getting poses down.
How's the year so far? Its only been 7 days, but a lot can happen in that span of time. I hope it's going well.
