I was looking back on Inktober stuff and saw the deer girl.

This one.
I messed up on thus one, specifically the tail among other things. So that prompted me to redraw it.

First of all, the light is a big step up from the previous piece. The colors are more vibrant, though the background is a bit light. I changed the top to make it look like it fit. I added a quiver because where else are you suppose to keep your arrows? Also, if she's an archer, she must go out a lot, so I darken her skin tone and added a few white freckles. I put the feather as an earring to make her seem more mature. To add to making her more mature, I changed the face shape and expression.
I didn't want my background to be too bold, so I opted for watercolor. I used watercolor pencils, but then realized my pen was not waterproof. I had to be extra careful around the edges of her figure. I do wish I darken the background just a tad bit though.
Now seeing them side by side, it's only been a couple of months but my art style has changed a lot. I can't wait to see how it changes from here on out.
