Chapter Six: What the Heck is Going on Here?

So, if you guys remember from chapter four, Gray and Juvia were scouting out a hideout of the nefarious Karu Family!! But so far, they've only seen one person, and she claims she knows Gray!! Who is she and how does she know the Ice Mage?

(Ruby's POV)

"Gray, who is this?"

The girl with blue hair looks very confused. And jealous. Girlfriend? Gray, you womanizer! I chuckle at the thought of him seducing lots of women. That's probably what he does on a regular basis.

"I didn't know you were a womanizer Gray! You player!" I call out.

His face turns red and he shakes his hands. "No! She's not my girlfriend!" He yells flustered.

I shake my head amusedly. I close my eyes and sigh, remembering the times we had as children.

"Who are you?"

My eyes snap open and I glare at Gray. Did he just ask who I was? So he doesn't remember...... Just as I dreaded. He's just like everyone else! He doesn't care about me, he never did! He did save you though.... The little voice in my head tells me.

"Why do you ask?" I growl.

He shrugs sarcastically. "Oh, just wanted to see why the heck you knew my name. I mean, if I knew you, I can see why you knew me." He says, as if it wasn't a big deal that he didn't remember me.

I grit my teeth together and clench my fists. "Underground information. You'd be amazed how much information some people have on you." I say deadly.

But instead of cowering in fear of what info I had him, Gray backed away, a creeped out look on his face. I scrunch my eyebrows together, wondering why he was so creeped out......

I feel my face sting with heat and my eyes widen with shock. I slam my fist in embarrassment, and quickly compose myself. Man, mistake on my part. Big one. But the girl steps forward with a determined look on her face.

"I know more about Gary-sama!" she exclaims proudly.

I raise my eyebrow and bite my lip in restraint. But I can't help it. I burst out in a fit of laughter, and can't seem to stop. The girl looks shocked at this quick change in the mood and halfway between confused and ready to fight. Which makes me laugh even more.

"Haha! You're a funny girl! Are you sure you're not Gray's girlfriend?" I laugh, wiping away the tears. "Man! It's been a while since I've laughed that hard!"

I then stand up from the throne and slowly descend the stairs. I flex my fists as I go down, always prepared for a fight. Before either of them can retort or react I hold up a fist.

"Alright, I'm not exactly keen on spilling innocent blood in Master's throne room, actually anywhere, but unless you leave, I'll have no choice but too."

Gray's expression hardens and he snarls. "That didn't stop you from killing those innocent children!"

I stop in my tracks and smirk, a cold one to intimidate him.

"Who said they were innocent?" I drawl.

Gray gets taken aback by that one. But his girlfriend steps in, with a disgusted face showing.

"How could children not be innocent?" She says coldly, turning her arm to liquid.

I frown at her arm. Magic users. They planned to intimidate me with their magic? Ha. As if.
