Chapter 4

“So what's first?” Sam asked. “Well learning when to and when not to use your mind control.” I said. “I only really use it when I want something.” Sam said. “Exactly. I did that all the time when I was your age.” I said. “Hey I have a quick question.” Sam said. “What?” I asked.
  “So you were Shane’s first creation.” Sam said. “Yes.” I said. “Why do you think he gave you all these powers? Like I mean you can do pretty much everything.” Sam said. “I honestly don’t know. Maybe he knew about how shitty my life was before then.” I said. “Alright.” Sam said.
  “Anyways let’s get back to work.” I said.

Time Skip

Sam and I walked inside the house and saw Shane was talking to Colby and David. “Hey guys.” Shane said. “Who are these people?” Sam asked. “Sam this is David and Colby Lopez they are friends of Shane’s.” I said. “Oh well hi.” Sam said. I grabbed Sam’s wrist and we headed upstairs. “We don’t need to be around Colby.” I said.
  “Ok.” Sam said. We went up to my room and shut the door. “Alright so what do you want to do?” I asked. “Play video games.” Sam said. I chuckled. “Alright.” I said turning on my TV and Xbox. “Alright I’ll go see what they are up too.” Colby said.
   “You’ve got to be shitting me.” I said. “What?” Sam asked. “Colby is coming up here.” I said. “Did something happen between you two?” Sam asked. “Yes I met him.” I said. I gave Sam a controller. “What game?” I asked.
  “Monopoly.” Sam said. I rolled my eyes. “Fine, but prepare to lose.” I said. A knock was heard on the door. I sighed went to the door and opened it. “What do you want Colby?” I asked. “Hello to you too beautiful. I was coming up to see what you two are doing.” Colby said.
  “We are playing a game now leave.” I said trying to shut the door. Colby caught the door before pushing it open. “Fine come in whatever.” I said rolling my eyes. Colby shut the door behind him and waved at Sam who ignored him. “Are all of the McMahon daughters like this?” Colby asked. I ignored him and sat next to Sam and started up Monopoly. “Can I join you guys.” Colby asked.
  “Whatever grab one of the controllers.” I said. Colby grabbed one and it had the UpUpDownDown logo on it. “Fan’s of my boy Austin I see?” Colby said. “More so friends but whatever.” I said. “I wonder how we’ve not met.” Colby said. “I can see why people prefer Seth and not Colby.” I said. “Please after what I did last night I bet you are begging to be with me.” Colby said.
  “What happened last night?” Sam asked. “Nothing happened.” I said anger building up in me. “Oh something did happen. Especially with you and Thomas.” Colby said smirking. “Shyla.” Sam said. I was breathing heavy. “Should I pull up the photo and video to remind you.” Colby asked.
   I clenched my fists. “Shyla remember what you told me early.” Sam said. “This cunt deserves what’s coming.” I said. I stood up and got in Colby’s face. I felt everything calming down and I felt weird. “Sam stop.” I said. “I’m not letting you hurt someone. Even if they deserve it.” Sam said.
  I growled and punched a pillow. “If you bring up him again I will hit you. Got it?” I threatened. “Crystal.” Colby said.
