Fight For Justice

Chapter 13

"Shyla you know why I kept you away from them." Shane said. "No, I don't. You never told me. You don't tell me a lot of things." I said clenching my fists. "I've told you a lot of things Shyla. Every time I've told you the truth." Shane said. "The truth? You've been lying!" I yelled.

  "No I've told you everything." Shane said. "You told me I was your first creation!" I said. "That's because you are." Shane said, trying to get closer to me. "Colby was your first creation not me! You didn't want to scare me nine years ago because you fucked up on him." I yelled. Shane stopped in his tracks. "How do you know that?" Shane asked. 

 "He showed me. You are ridiculous." I said, walking out of his office and slamming the door. Colby walked down the stairs and looked at me. "Hey, are you okay?" Colby asked. I looked at him before running far away.

Time Skip

I stopped and looked at the 4 way. "Why are you here?" Colby asked. "I had a feeling you'd follow me here." I said. "Why are you in the middle of a 4 way in Indiana? Hell, what year is it?" Colby asked. I ignored him and watched a car coming towards us. "Shyla." Colby said.

  "I can change this." I said. I watched as the semi truck was also coming. "Shyla please. If you do this then we'll never meet. You'd never meet Sam." Colby said, trying to drag me out of the road. "I lost the most important thing to me when that happened. I lost my family." I said as tears came rolling down my cheek.

  "You didn't lose them." Colby said. "I live over 1000 miles away from them." I said. Colby finally was able to pull me out of the way and we watched as the semi hit the car. It flipped several times before a lightning strike hit the car. "What the?" I said. After a few minutes the truck driver went back to the car and pulled out Taralynn.

  "Boss come on. You did your job." The driver said. Taralynn crawled out. I started breathing heavy. "Shyla don't do anything you'll regret." Colby said. I ran back in time to 2026. Colby soon behind me. 

 "Shyla." Colby said. "I think it's best you leave." I said. Colby sighed and left. She thinks she can try and kill me? I guess it's time for a little revenge.

Time Skip

"Shyla why are you up so early?" Sam asked. "I could ask you the same thing, but I have a few things to do." I said. It's been a six months since Colby and I got together and we've been pretty happy. Besides the time when he has to go to work. Then it sucks. Today was my last day of planning and training before I finally decide to attack Taralynn and end this. Nobody knows about it besides me.

Time Skip

I was getting ready for the biggest fight of my life. The fight against someone who I used to call my best friend. I was supposed to hang with Colby tonight, but change of plans.

Shyla: Hey, I can't hang tonight. Rain check?

Colby: Alright. I love you.

Shyla: I love you too.

I turned my phone off and put my stuff in my car. I turned on my car and headed towards Taralynn's warehouse.
