Chapter 15

Third Person Pov

Shyla rolled over onto her backside and looked to see Colby is standing there. He used her one weakness, Kryptonite. He soon realized what he did. "Shyla." Colby said. I began coughing up blood. In the corner of my eye I saw Sam smirking and helping Taralynn up. "Sam." Shyla said, spitting the blood out. 

  "Nice work partner." Taralynn said, patting Sam's back. A tear fell down Shyla's cheek as Colby came beside her. "Why?" Shyla asked. Sam didn't respond. "Shyla I can fix this." Colby said picking Shyla up. "Don't fucking touch me." Shyla said falling out of Colby's arms before disappearing.

Time Skip

Shyla made it to the front door and opened it before falling to the ground. "Shane!" Shyla yelled. Nothing was seen or heard. "Shane help me!" Shyla yelled. Before long everything went black.

Time Skip

Shane opened the door laughing before he stopped. "Is there something wrong?" Anna asked. Shane didn't answer, but fell to the ground checking for a pulse. Anna, and Tim looked through the door. Anna began sobbing and Tim pulled Anna in. "What happened to our baby girl?" Anna asked. Shane picked up Shyla and headed for his lab.

 "You two stay in the living room!" Shane yelled before shutting the door and locking it. He put her on the table and pulled off her jacket and saw what happened. "Fuck!" Shane yelled, running around to try and find the right tools. He got back to Shyla and did what he could.

Time Skip

Shane came out of the lab to see Colby talking with Anna and Tim. "Shane! I know who did this!" Colby said, getting up and walking towards him. "Sam, did I know." Shane said. "How do you know that?" Colby asked. "Go in and check on her." Shane said before walking towards Shyla's parents. Colby went inside of Shane's lab.

  The first time in 10 years. "Shane I told you to go away." Shyla said. Colby walked up to Shyla and grabbed her hand. Shyla jumped and looked at Colby. "Why are you here?" Shyla asked. "I came to check on you." Colby said. "To do what? Go tell Taralynn." Shyla growled.

  "Shyla. I had nothing to do with it. I was talking to Sam one day when we were hanging out and then things changed inside me. Sam used her damn mind control." Colby said. Shyla stayed quiet. "I would never want to do anything to harm you. I love you and so do your parents." Colby said. Shyla closed her eyes.

 "Speaking of them, they are worried sick in the living room." Colby said. Shyla's eyes opened again and got up to fast falling down. "You aren't at full strength yet beautiful." Colby said helping Shyla up. Shyla wrapped one of her arms around Colby's neck and they began to walk out of Shane's lab. We walked to the living room to see Shane talking to Anna and Tim.
