Alone

Rey's POV

Finally, Saturday morning and I love Saturday so much! As I brush my teeth and took a bath. I change my white flower tank top with grey pants and white flats as I went to downstairs to eat breakfast but when I came down, I saw my Grandfather grabbing his suitcases.

"Grandpa, where are you going? What's with the suitcases?" I asked him as I felt something going on.

"Rey, I am going out of town." My grandpa said as tears in the corner of my eyes.

"No, no, no, no! Please Grandpa, don't leave." I cried as he hugged me and I sobbed harder, ruining his dark navy shirt with tears of grief I had.

"I'm sorry my dear Rey, I have no choice, but in a few months, I will be back, I promise." He said as he calmed me down and rubbed my back in circles and wiped off the tears away from my face.

"Okay grandpa." I said as I hugged him.

"And one more thing Rey?" He asked.

"Yes grandpa." I said.

"Locked all the doors before you leave, alright my dear. I heard that 2 burglars went targeting on vacant house in our neighborhood, I want you to be safe and I don't you to get hurt, alright my granddaughter?" He said as I nodded and he handed me his key. 

"Alright, goodbye dear Reyhanne." He said as we both waved goodbye and he left and I locked the all the doors and went to my bedroom. 

I looked at the photo of me when I was 3 years old with my grandpa, I hugged it as I began to cry.

"Grandpa, I am gonna miss you so much, I will always remember you." I cried looking at the photo of him and me as a 3 year old as the tears went staining of my photo frame I took as BB-8 came to my room and jumped on my bed.

"Oh, BB. I am gonna miss Grandpa so much." I cried as I cuddled BB-8 since Grandpa was all I had left in my family. I became missing him so much since he raised me after my parents' deaths.

On night time, I went to the living room to watch TV and eating dinner here with BB-8 as soon as the door ring. I unlocked the door and saw Gwen.

"Hey girl, how you doing?" She asked me.

"I'm fine Gwen." I whimpered as I looked down and walked in and she gets inside and I locked the door.

As the 2 of us were in the living room, we sit on the couch to watch TV as she noticed my eyes were red and my nose became red as I became to cry.

"Rey, you okay, your eyes became red." She asked me.

"It's fine Gwen, I just have puffy eyes." I lied.

"Rey, you've been crying, just tell me honest, please, why are you crying?" She asked me as she begged me to tell her the truth.

"My grandpa went out of town, I am now home alone." I cried so hard as tears stain on my pants and I cover my eyes with my hands.

"Oh dear, what happened, and where are your parents?" Gwen asked me as she hold my hand. 

"They're both dead when I was 2 years old, they died of a car accident, so my grandfather raised me after their deaths. I have the photo of them with me and my grandpa." As I showed Gwen the photo of me when I was 4 months old with my late parents and my grandfather.

"I'm sorry for your loss Rey." Gwen said as she hugged me and rubbed my back as I sobbed hard ruining Phasma's black blouse with tears of grief.

"I am all alone now, my grandfather was leaving out of town, my parents were dead, he is all I had left, I am afraid he will never come back. I just want him to be here with me." I cried as I hugged Gwen tight and she did it too while rubbing my back.

"It's okay Rey, It's okay. I will be here for you, Poe, Finn, Hux, and Kylo were always there for you. No matter what, we will never leave you by your side, ever." She said as she comforting me.

"Thanks Gwen." I said.

"Anyway, why do you locked all the doors for?" She asked me curiously.

"My grandfather told me to do it because he heard that two burglars break in every houses in our neighborhood so that it why he wants me to be safe, and I don't know what will happen to me if I am alone, but if they break down my house, they will hurt me and hold me hostage." I explained to her about the robberies.

"Don't worry about it Rey. I will not let any psychos hurt you, and for now, I will stay at your house for the night in case you are safe." She said.

"Thanks Gwen." I said and smiled.

"Meow." BB-8 meow as he wants my attention and I held him.

"Hey BB, want some milk." As I cuddled him and go to the kitchen to fill milk at BB-8's bowl and give it to him.

"You've got a cute kitten." Gwen smiled as she pet BB-8's head.

"Thanks, his name is BB-8, I call him BB sometimes." I smiled.

"Cool, anyway, where's the bathroom?" She asked me.

"Oh, it's that way." I said as I point and she nodded and went to the bathroom.

As soon as that I felt like someone's spying me on the front window, I closed the curtains so I have to be safe.

As soon as Gwen finished using the bathroom, I turned off the TV and we went upstairs to my bedroom and also showed the photo of me when I was 3 with my grandpa to Gwen.

And I change into my pajamas, it was soft baby pink tank top and blue pajama pants and we both went on my bed and fell asleep.
