In about ten minutes I had finished about fifteen shirts and I that wasn't even near to finishing.
"Tristan I don't think we will be able to do every piece of clothing" I say
"I have an idea nerd" he says
He turns around and starts throwing all the clothes on the floor and spraying everywhere. He did this for about five minutes and before I knew it he was hallway.
"Are you going to do anything?" He asks
"Nope" I say taking out my phone
I check my notifications. 2 messages
1) Brent: can we please talk
Which I had just ignored
2) Mum: I see you are out, just let me know when you are on your way home xoxo
Me: I will 😘
I continued scrolling through some social media's when I was shot with silly string straight in the face.
"Hey!" I shout
With that Tristan begins to laugh so hard.
"It's not funny" I say placing my phone next to me.
"Maybe not to you but to me nerd, that was hilarious" he says smirking
I stood up and grabbed my can of silly string and shot it at him but missed.
"You missed me!" He shouts like a child
I tried again but this time hitting him straight in the face. I bursted out into laughter.
"I am going to get you!" He screams and I begin to run away.
Within seconds he has caught up to me.
"Thought you could escape me, oh boy were you wrong" he says laughing
"That's enough fun back to work" I say
"How much longer?" He asked
I grab my phone from the floor. My eyes widened at the sight before me.
"We have three minutes to get out of here" I said grabbing all our things and running for the door
"What!" Tristan says
"Don't just stand there come on!" I say
He soon takes the lead in front of me as we climb down the tree. Within second he is on the floor.
"Hurry up I hear her footsteps" he says looking up at me
I look down to see that I had only made it halfway down the tree.
"Jump" Tristan shouts at me
"What no, it's to high" I say
"Just jump" he says
"I am going to break an arm" I say
He laughs
"Just trust me" Tristan says
I looked down our eyes connecting for a couple of second and that's when I did it, that's when I jumped.
I fell for about 5 seconds when I landed safely in Tristan's arms.
I swear for a split second there was a spark.
Our eyes connected and I couldn't break my eyes from the stare it was too intense. We stood there for about 30 seconds just me in his arms staring in his eyes.
"Come on we have to go" he says breaking the state
"Do you mind putting me down?" I ask
"Oh yeah" he says with a bit of a laugh
We run to the car hopping in and driving out of her driveway. We drove all the way to my house with an awkward silence.
We arrived at my house in a couple minutes.
"Thanks for a ride" I said as I got out
"Wait!" He calls after me
"Yeah?" I ask
"Could I have your number because this is definitely not the end of the revenge plot" he says smirking
"Yeah" I say
I recite my number as he types.
"Bye Ashley" he says
"You finally said my name" I joke
"Don't get too excited nerd" he laughs
"Bye Tristan" I wave
I stand in the driveway as I wait for his car to leave the driveway. I enter the house heading straight towards the kitchen to grab something to eat.
"Hey little sis" I turn and see my brother Alex
"Oh hey Alex" I say
"Where were you?" He questions
"Just our with a friend" I say
"Oh did Emily or Brent get a new car?" He asks
Just hearing Brent's name made me sick. I stood there staring at my brother. I couldn't stop it, the tears starting running down my cheeks.
"Ash what's wrong?" He says
I didn't answer. He came over and wrapped me in a tight hug.
"Just so you know you aren't going to sleep until you tell me who made you upset?"
He dragged me to the couch and sat my down in the living room.
"Speak!" He commands and I do
I told my brother everything, filled him in on everything except the parts about Tristan.
"Brent's going to die" he says causing me to release a small giggle
"Don't worry about it Alex" i say wiping me cheeks
"But anyway whose car was that?" He asks
"Like I said a friends" I answer
"Who?" He questions
"Uhm Tristan Taylor" I say
"Ashley seriously?" He asks
"Yeah" I say looking down at the floor
"I may have finished school but he is bad news" he says
"Night Alex" I say walking towards he kitchen
"Wait Ash!" He calls
"Yeah Alex" I say
"Just promise me you will stay away from Tristan" he says
I avoid his gaze and nod.
