He seemed to have switched his normal black jeans and leather jacket for a suit and tie.
"Hi Tristan" I say
"Are you ready to go?" He asks
"Yeah" I say and I follow him to his car and take a seat in front
"Put this on" he says handing me a blind fold
"Why?" I ask
"Our first destination is a surprise" he says
I follow his instructions and place the blindfold over my eyes.
"Are you ready?" He asks
"Yep" I reply
"Then let's go" he says and I smile
We drove for a couple of minutes, before we arrive at our first destination.
"We're here" he says
"Can I take off the blindfold?" I ask and he laughs
"Nope not yet" he says and I hear him get out the car
Soon my door was open and he was helping me get out.
"Where are we?" I ask
"We first need to walk for a while before actually reach our first destination" he says
He hold my hand, which sends a tingling feeling through my body. He places the other hand on my waist and he begins to guide me.
"I quickly need to unlock the door" he says as I hear keys rattling
"Come on" he says as he continues to guide me.
We took many rights and lefts before he finally said I could take it of.
I untied the blindfold and checked my surroundings. My jaw dropped in shock
"Why are we at school?" I ask
"Look where we are standing?" He says
"In the middle of the school" I say
"Nope, this is the spot where you bumped into me" he says with a grin
"You remember that?" I ask
"Yep" he says grinning like a child
"It's kinda the place where we first met" I said
"Yeah" he says and sends a smile my direction. I could feel my cheeks turning a bright shade of red.
"You were so mad" I say, playfully punching him
"Yeah I was" he says and I laugh
"Come on next stop" he says
"Do I need to wear the blindfold?" I ask
"Nope" he says laughing
We leave the school and walk to the car.
"What are we going next?" I ask
"Now we are doing the actual date part" he says and laughs
"Do I get food?" I ask which causes him
"Of course you get food Ashley" he says
Hearing my name out of his mouth, made my stomach erupt with butterflies. He hurt me so badly but I missed him.
"We're here" he says as he unbuckled his seat belt
I get out the car and adapt to the cool, salty air of the beach.
"Follow me" he says and I do as instructed
"Where are we going?" I ask
"Just follow me and you will see" he says as he takes my hand in his.
"Are we there yet?" I ask
"Nope, only a little more" he says
We turn a corner and I see a big comfy blanket, with a bunch of fairy lights around the edge. I see a picnic basket and a speaker.
"Is that for us?" I ask
"Yes Ashley" he says
I watch as he takes a seat on the blanket and gestures for me to come sit next to him and I do so.
"This amazing Tristan" I say
"Thank you" he replies
"Did you do it yourself?" I ask
"I wish I could take credit for all of this, but it would have been impossible if I didn't get some help from my sister" he says
"Thank you" I say and he nods
"Let's eat" he says and I laugh
He hands me the picnic basket and I dig in.
"Thank you Ashley" Tristan says out of the blue
"For what?" I ask
"For giving me a chance to redeem myself" he says
"You're welcome" I say
He smiles.
"Let's finishing eating and I will take you to our final destination" he says
We make eye contact for a couple of seconds and I sent a small smile his way
"Are you ready to go?" He asks and I nod
"Yeah let's go" I say
"Lucky for you, no blindfold this time" he jokes and I laugh
We pack up the picnic and walk towards his car.
"Where are we going now?" I ask
"Just wait and see" he says
We get in the car and make many lefts and rights. Soon we stopped in front of a building and it took me a while to notice we had stopped in front of a church.
"Come on" he says as he gets out the car and walks around to open my door
"What are we doing at a church?" I ask
"Follow me" he says
He takes the lead as we walk to the open door of the church. It was empty.
"Can you explain?" I ask
"Be patient" he says laughing
He grabs my hand and leads me to the stage of the church. I take a moment to check my surrounding. It felt so weird being in a empty church, but yet it was so beautiful. We stood hand in hand, center stage.
"Now could you explain?" I ask and he laughs
"I showed you where we first met and now I am showing you where I hope we could be in the future" he says
I stand there and stare deep into his eyes.
"I don't want to lose you now, I love you so much and I hope that one day I am able to marry you in this very church" he says
I take a step closer to him, so that our faces are inches apart.
"I love you" I say
"Does this mean you forgive me?" He asks
"Yes Tristan it does" I say as I wrap my arms around his neck
"Thank you Ash" he says and he brings his lips to meet mine
We stood there for a couple of seconds in the middle of the church doing nothing but staring into each other's eyes.
It feels so good knowing that I have Tristan back, but my life won't be complete till I get my other half back.
